Lovely lodge equipped with everything you need and thoroughly clean. Superb large hot tub perfect for relaxation to use constantly throughout your stay. Beautiful setting on the river, quiet location, park the car up and enjoy picturesque walks along the Thames path. This site and owner gets 10 out of 10!

There are two Southwold 2 lodges. One sits behind the mobile home pitches, the other sits behind the first one.The view from the front one is perfect if there are no tourers staying but otherwise impacted slightly by those. The view from the back one is pretty much just the rear of the front lodge so less of the river.Having said that the rear one has overall better privacy and the hot tubs have effective screening which is optonal to use.Our accommodation was very clean and tidy and nicely laid out and furnished.Robes, hot tub towels, a free to use laundry (no washing powder) and good quality shower gel add to the experience.Walking distance to shops and pubs with a nice on-site cafe too.No hesitation recommending.

I would absolutely recommend Benson Waterfront - the photos on the website dont do it justice at all! The setting is like no other - right on the canal with options for boat hire. Its stunning and peaceful with a bistro on site with loads of outdoor seating in the sun - the food was delicious. We specifically chose this site due to its close proximity to Legoland (just a 45 min drive) whats better than a long day at the theme-park than coming home to dinner by the water and a few hours in the hot tub?! Bliss! (And at a fraction of the cost too!)The caravan itself was very clean, spacious and well equipped (towels, soap, shampoo and a range of kitchen utensils all provided) much more than weve had on offer in other caravan stays. We were very surprised by the size of bathroom and there was even a bath, perfect for kids! The surrounding area is beautiful - 5 mins walk to the local village for dinner in the local pub, and supermarket for necessities. And a 2 mins boat ride across the canal to the Benson lock for a short walk into neighbouring Wallingford. A half hour drive from Oxford, or just 45 mins on the bus that picks you up right at the site entrance. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and made sure we were well looked after. We had an amazing stay here and hope to be back in the future.

Weve just returned from a lovely weekend at Waterfront. Agnesa on reception was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain all the details, which was really appreciated. Our lodge faced south and had stunning waterfront views - it was warm, spotless and surprisingly spacious. Theres a charming cafe/bistro by the water, along with a couple of great pubs nearby, all within walking distance. The private hot tub was the perfect way to unwind at sunset. Wed definitely come back!

We had such a great time! The lodge was super cosy and warm, really felt like a home away from home. The hot tub was definitely the highlight - it heats up to 40 degrees and works perfectly, such a treat after a day out. The living space was spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The bathroom was lovely, with both a bath and shower. Overall, a wonderful stay in a really charming lodge!

We honestly had a fantastic time at Benson Waterfront. The lodge was absolutely lovely-spotless, well-equipped and really comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite, making us feel very welcome. Small details like the bathrobes for the hot tub and the kitchen extras really made a difference. All in all, a holiday to remember. Thanks to everyone involved!

Had an Amazing weekend break at this delightful caravan/lodge. Ever so clean and all the home comforts you could need in the property (and more…even bathrobes to use when you get out the tub!). Staff were really friendly and helpful, and it’s such a beautiful peaceful location, owith stunning walks in all directions, cafe/restaurant on site and local towns nearby with more to offer. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a lovely time.
Marie
We enjoyed our stay. The loge & hot tub was amazing & very clean. Staff are very friendly & helpful, always on hand. Just would like to say the hot tub well matained. But Just disappointed it had a small leak, and the view of the river was not good, because of the trees & the caravans that was phich up in front of our loge.
David
A lovely lodge with hot tub in a beautiful riverside setting. Close to local attractions, but secluded in its own way. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice bistro within easy walking distance.
Andy
Great lodges in beautiful location. Very clean and well maintained. Couldn't fault them.
Deborah
We stopped here for a week and we absolutely loved our stay. We didn’t experience any problems whilst there so unable to comment on this. The lodge was very clean and had everything you could need to self cater. We used the Waterfront cafe which is adjacent to the lodge site and found it be be reasonable and what we ate was good. We also used the pub in the village finding the service / food excellent. There is a bus stop in front of the Waterfront cafe car park so you can access Oxford, Reading and lots of other places without having to use the car. We can not see hunk of a bad thing to say about these lodges, hopefully to return soon
Susan
Beautiful, clean lodge with everything provided made for a comfortable stay. Hot tub was immaculately clean and checked daily. Only ate once at the restaurant but food was lovely, service quick and staff polite. Would recommend a stay here.
Nigel
Excellent accommodation. Only downside is proximity to main road.
Debbie
Really impressed with the lodge, couldn’t of asked for anything better. The host was very friendly and helpful. A very beautiful place, we will definitely go back.
