Ive been back twice now with my partner and will certainly plan a third stay in the future. We love how cosy it feels, like a real escape, with gorgeous scenery on the doorstep. Perfect days spent going for a walk (there are so many), spotting wildlife and having a picnic, coming back to the hot tub and a very cosy cabin. Ideal for us.

Loved the lodge, great location & very peaceful. Sofa was a tad uncomfortable but overall a great lodge & site.

An amazing place to stay after spending days exploring Scotland.. facilities were excellent and a nice touch with the dressing gowns only downside was the WiFi but for the amount of time we were in it did t matter

We had such a great time! The lodge by the river was perfect-serene and stunning. Everything we needed was there, plus a lovely welcome pack. Relaxing in the hot tub with that view was definitely the cherry on top. Can't wait to return; it was just what we needed for some proper R&R!

An absolutely amazing place to stay. Our lodge was right in the riverside. Beautiful views and so peaceful. The lodge is full of everything you would need including a lovely welcome pack. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the river will be the highlight of our stay. We are already looking forward to going back.

We had a lovely stay and definitely plan to come back. Next time, were aiming for spring or summer so we can explore those more daring hikes nearby. That said, winter was still perfect for us to relax, reset and enjoy quality family time. The dogs absolutely loved it too - they were in their element! We really didnt want to leave.

Overall, we had a good stay. The lodge was quite clean, though a few areas showed signs of wear. Its a bit tired and could do with some fresh paint and varnish, but nothing major. Nice enough!

We had such a cosy stay here! The location is stunning, especially the drive to Fort Augustus - really breathtaking scenery. The lodge might be a bit on the small side compared to others, but the beds were super comfy and we appreciated the extra touches like the bed linen, towels and kitchen supplies. Its rare to find a place with everything from washing up liquid to oven gloves included, so that was a real bonus. The sofa was lovely to sink into after a day out, especially with the view from the window. Water pressure and temperature were spot on, which is always a plus. The bath was a bit bouncy when standing in the shower if youre a bigger person like me, but thats personal really. Loved that they refresh the hot tub for each guest - very thoughtful. We grabbed some food on the way, but forgot bread, though we found some at the petrol station in Fort Augustus - bit pricey. Definitely dont miss the Falls of Foyers, just a quick 10-minute drive, but watch out for kamikaze grouse! The pub up the hill is a lovely spot with great food, just a couple of minutes walk. Would come back for sure!

Cosy. It's a lovely location, the drive down to Fort Augustus from here is spectacular. Although the lodge is small compared to some, the beds were really comfy and the effort with bed linen towels and kitchen equipment was fab. It's really rare to have a lodge with washing up liquid sponges oven gloves etc so this was great. Couch was comfy and great looking out the window. Water pressure and temperature was also great. Bath was a little bouncy when standing in shower, if your a bit bigger like I am but thats just a personal thing. I loved that they say they empty and refresh the hot tub for each guest. Got food shop on the way up, but totally forgot bread managed to get some in petrol station in Fort Augustus but it is expensive. Don't miss out on visit to falls of foyers its only a 10 minute drive, watch out for kamikaze grouse tho. Pub up the hill only 2 min walk and lovely food.

Sofa in lounge is a quite uncomfortable but apart from that no complaints ,, we loved the location we were on honeymoon and we found the lodge very secluded, relaxing, warm, and hot tub was very welcome to relax in the evenings, we loved our time thank you

The sofa in the lounge isnt the most comfy, but honestly, we didnt mind too much. The lodges location was perfect for our honeymoon - super secluded, cosy and warm. The hot tub was a real highlight for unwinding after busy days. We had a lovely time, thanks!

We loved the setting, especially the wildlife and friendly locals. The pub nearby served fantastic food and the hosts made us feel so welcome.
