One of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in, the grounds were lovely, the views were great and not to far from the lakes. It is a great please to stop at and to use as your base for exploring the Lake District or just to use as a retreat to get away from it all and just kick off your shoes & relax.

Holiday was quite expensive for one week I could of had a week in Spain for less

Lovely holiday in great quiet location. Quick and efficient check in. Lodge was lovely, although some of the furnishings could benefit from a deep clean and more care needed when cleaning.

The lodge was so homely, clean and warm. I could easily make a meal, wash our swimwear and muddy clothes from a particularly wet day.
It was just like a little home away from home.

We had a great break with our family just what was needed at this time.

We had a great time at Thanet well lodge retreat. It was quiet and peaceful. Our lodge was clean and look new. No activity or shop At this park, so make sure you have enough food and drink with you. Hot tub was the excellent ! Love it.

Location great for exploring west lakes. Lodge well equipped,clean and comfortable. Tv in each room saved our life. Pooley Bridge had nice pubs,tea rooms and free public WiFi. Veranda had nice furniture but no views no sunshine, had to drive onto countryside for both.

If you are looking for peace and quiet and a relaxing break Thanet Well Lodge ticks the boxes.

Lovely site very quiet and lodges are beautiful. Would have liked a bar or cafe onsite as there isnt village/town close by.

We had a lovely week in our lodge, which was very well cleaned and in good condition. The location is rural and very quiet, which was ideal for us. We enjoyed relaxing outside, the views are beautiful and we were lucky with the weather! A great base to explore the lakes!

A very welcome long weekend with great views and it was very quiet and peaceful - even though the site was full. The break was only marred by the unfortunate smell of the drains (maybe at a time of toilet flushing) at a frequent number of times. It must have been known about as the water treatment engineer was apparent on the Monday ...unfortunately when we were leaving. It was not pleasant at times.
Also considered that the kitchen knives could have been much sharper also measuring jug and colander would have been very useful.

Fab lodge although decking was overlooked by others but we got the chance to speak to our neighbours. We was a bit conscious of kids being noisy in hot tub but they where just having fun.
Fully fitted kitchen with all utensils you needed.

Great week away. Fantastic views from the cabin/lodge we stayed in. Lodge was looking a little tired. Some lights had failed outside and the exterior was looking shabby. Shower didn't drain properly and probably hadn't had hair removed within the drain. No wi-fi available from the lodge, so we had to pay extra to up our mobile phone accounts. Luckily we had strong 4g phone signals. I'd recommend staying here as it is a beautiful spot; we did a lot of driving to get to where we wanted whilst here, but the spetacular views on the road more than made up for the journey time.

It was a much needed getaway for the family. Away from the busy life.

Good location for hiking in the day and relaxing of an evening. the accommodation had everything we needed, with a wonderful bath for soaking after the long walks. The only thing I would have changed is the sofa, it was quite small and not big enough to seat 2 people comfortably.

My partner and enjoyed a great stay at Thanet Well lodges this weekend. Our lodge was spacious and very well kept. On arrival the woman who checked us in couldnt have been nicer and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The lodge itself was absolutely beautiful, very clean and well equipped (especially regarding the current situation of covid) I felt very comfortable and safe in the lodge. Thanet well lodge is a great area if you are looking to go for a very quiet and relaxing break away. It is out in the country side with not a lot of things to do around it, however walks and places to visit are not too far a drive (through some windy country roads). I would highly reccomend Thanet Well lodges if you are wanting a relaxing, quiet break away. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back in the near future.

Fantastic view

Beautiful location. Our lodge was well equipped and clean and very comfortable. The flooring in the bathroom was quite old and in need of replacing. The hot tub was amazing Overall really enjoyed our stay. Loved the lake’s. Very dog friendly

This is the 6th time we have visited Thanet Well , it’s like our second home and we love it so much . The lodges are fantastic and the surrounds are just so peaceful and quiet , can’t wait to book the next visit .

It was lovely peaceful and quiet You do have to drive everywhere as nothing is within walking distance but that wasn’t a problem. The staff we very friendly and kind, they would go the extra mile for there guess I would definitely recommend this site for a peaceful getaway

We went for a short break and to just chill out and unwind so Thanet well lodge retreat was the perfect place.i also love how there is very little entertainment wise on the site. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Lovely place and area. Only down side is you need a car to get anywhere, but overall a lovely holiday
