A fantastic place to stay. Great location, the lodge is lovely and there is plenty to see and do nearby.

Basics presented but enough to call home for a few nights. Everything is here for a break away.Our 3 children were comfortable with baby in travel cot.

The lodge was kept spotless and had a cosy feel, with really comfy beds. Some areas felt a bit dull though.

We had an absolutely lovely week in mid-September and the weather was just perfect for sitting outside with a G & T. The lodge felt really cosy, like a proper traditional place and had everything we needed. The owners were super helpful - when we mentioned a chirping smoke alarm, it was fixed straight away. The location was great for exploring on foot and our springer had a blast running around once the chickens were out of sight. Definitely a place we'd recommend to others!

We loved the peaceful setting and how peaceful the location was - perfect for a relaxing break. The lodge was huge, super clean and had everything we needed, even the little touches like milk and cookies. Cant wait to come back. Definitely recommend! Easy five stars.

The lodge was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly require during a stay, right down to the complimentary milk and cookies! Can't wait to return. We stayed at Spindlewood Lodges recently and really enjoyed our time. The place was spotlessly clean and had all the essentials we needed. The only downsides were the front door and a heater in the living space, which could do with replacing. Still, we'd definitely come back, just maybe to a different lodge. Those chickens are a lovely touch!

We really enjoyed our trip and the weather was on our side. Driving around Somerset was surprisingly relaxing compared to home. The county is such a good place-beautiful, largely untouched and full of interesting spots we loved exploring. Definitely recommend!

We loved the peaceful vibe and the locations perfect-lots of sights nearby! The supermarkets not far for supplies and the pubs are great for a relaxing night out. No fuss, no distractions, just what we wanted!

We found the kitchen well-stocked and easy to cook in, which definitely helped us have a smooth week. We did miss a lamp or two in the evenings, but overall, everything was pretty much spot on. Good stay!

We were after a peaceful escape with no fuss, just some proper downtime and honestly, this place delivered! The hosts couldnt have been more welcoming; they made us feel right at home without being overbearing. The cottage was spotless, cosy and had those little touches that make all the difference. The welcome tray with fresh milk was a lovely touch too. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last. We left feeling relaxed and happy - perfect getaway!

We stayed at this lovely lodge and honestly, its a great little escape! The place was super clean and felt really cosy, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. WiFi and TV worked perfectly, which was a relief. The chickens dropping by each day was such a fun touch! A bit missing were some cushions and a hairdryer, but we had brought our own, so no biggie. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had such a lovely, relaxing break! Done all the usual parks, pools and pubs with the kids when they were little. Now its our turn to unwind again and were already booked for next year!

We stayed in a lovely timber cabin surrounded by open fields. The place was spotless and incredibly cosy. The power shower was fantastic-really helped us wash away the aches from a long journey. The only tiny downside is dogs need to be on a lead in the main field, but we totally get why. Honestly, one of the best spots we've ever visited for relaxing!

We had an enjoyable three days in March at Spindlewood Lodge. The weather was perfect for all the walking we wanted to do with the dog. It's a great spot if you love being outside and then relaxing in a cosy evening with good food and drinks.

We had a lovely weekend here for our special occasion. The lodges were spotless, super cosy and kept us warm. The setting is stunning, with great views. The local pubs just a short walk and its only a quick drive to the festival or the Tor if you fancy a bit of exploring. Sandra and Tony were really friendly and helpful throughout. Great stay!

Lovely place. Unfortunately local towns were a let down. Shops closed and not a lot to do.

Amazing place, beautiful surroundings and very very peaceful. Hosts fabulous, very helpful. Recommend highly. I would certainly stay again. Transport a necessity, unless you are very fit and like walking. A lovely get away from it all...

We had a wonderful relaxed holiday. Could not have been better. The staff were friendly and helpful. We have been there before and will be going again.

The lodges have a fantastic setting in the beautiful Somerset countryside, with lots of local attractions within easy range.
We were very well looked after with a lovely personal touch.
We made lots of use of the table tennis and croquet set available.
Would highly recommend!

The lodges were very clean, the location was beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing, the owner's were lovely ,asked us to call if we needed anything. I can honestly say it was the one time I didn't want to go home.

We loved the peace and quiet, not to mention the regular visits from the chickens! The location is ideal for visiting many of Somerset's attractions. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and you can contact them by phone if you need anything. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Wells Cathedral is approximately 5 miles away, it’s a beautiful city and well worth a visit. Also if you like shopping Clark’s village is a must…

Lovely peaceful setting. Clean comfortable lodges. Warm and cosy . Lodge was ready before expected very kindly received a message so we could go on a bit early .
Site just a few miles from Glastonbury and wells .perfect spot for a quiet relaxing get away .

Lovely quiet lodge - clean and well maintained. The fenced area around the lodge was brilliant to let the dogs out. Excellent base to explore Somerset and the areas around.
