Enjoyed sitting on the private patio outside the pod in the sun. Private parking next to the pod too. The facilities inside the pod consisting of toilet, shower, sink, microwave, kettle and toaster were ideal for me with a comfortable double bed and 2 singles also used as seating. Ideal for me as a solo traveller but would struggle for space for 4 people I think. Dave and Michelle onsite friendly and helpful as always. I will return !

Nice quiet location. Lovely setting overlooking Ryan Bay. Close to Stranraer ... DandG's second largest town (... possibly just over a mile along the bay). The Fairy Pod's are lovely ... this was our third visit to the site and third time stopping in one of the pod's. Would have no hesitation going back ;-) ... hopefully back there again sometime soon.

Our pod had everything you needed, bedding, comfy beds and sofa bed, a toilet and shower, a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. There's also a picnic bench and a gas bbq outside.

Fabulous stayFairy pods have everything you need double bed and seating area which can be made into 2 singles or a double. ( bed linen is supplied) A small but perfectly formed shower room. Remember your towels etcEnough cutlery and dishes for 4 people kitchen has a microwave and small fridge kettle and toaster ( I brought a sharp knife and bottle opener) tea, coffee and sugar are supplied a nice wee touch, outside there is a gas barbecue ( utensils are supplied) and a picnic seating area along with a parking space Location is fabulous right on the edge of Loch Ryan only a 5min drive to Stranraer where there is major supermarkets for supplies and small independent shops and loads of places to eat.Not far from the ferry links to northern Ireland too.Theres also a wee booklet to let you know all the places of interest in the area to visit. The site is really lovely the animals are a lovely too. Stayed here as a family of 3 with a 4 year old and we all loved it. Would definitely recommend and would come back. Only thing I would add is they should have a look at the shower head as it fell off during my 4 year old showering and hit her in the head. Not a big fix, but apart from that everything was perfect. Thank you.

We really enjoyed this cosy little cottage. Perfect spot for us, peaceful and away from the busy crowds. The hot tub was a lovely bonus. Owners were super helpful but never intrusive. They've got it just right!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was just what we needed and were already planning to return soon. Our dogs had a blast-the underfloor heating was a hit and they loved playing outside in the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but shes fine now. Happy pups, happy us!

Wed definitely consider returning to Loch Ryan, though probably not in the same caravan. Would be great if the bar opened more hours for food!

Overall, pretty happy with the experience. The only small thing was the description mentioning a cooker, which could have been clearer as a gas BBQ instead. Had to think a bit about meals for the kids, but otherwise, all good.
