We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was super well-maintained and had everything we needed. Plenty of lovely walks for the dogs just outside the door. The host was really friendly and quick to respond, which made everything smooth. We loved meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig. Definitely coming back-great value! Highly recommend.

The place is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that made us feel right at home. The gardens perfect for dogs - totally private and furnished nicely. We enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and tried some great restaurants in Thaxted, especially The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend!

We stayed at this place during a rainy December and honestly, it was perfect. The house is super well equipped and kept us cosy all weekend. The bath was fantastic and the shower was big enough for a proper rinse! Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all-dont let that put you off. Ideal spot for dogs that dislike fireworks, in the middle of nowhere. Thanks a lot!

A quick heads-up: the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise.
