We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was super well-maintained and had everything we needed. Plenty of lovely walks for the dogs just outside the door. The host was really friendly and quick to respond, which made everything smooth. We loved meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig. Definitely coming back-great value! Highly recommend.

We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and it was fantastic! The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were genuinely lovely. Even though its on a working farm, it felt so peaceful-truly a good place. Wed definitely go back!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels surprisingly private. Robert and Sharon are such friendly hosts, really warm and welcoming. The place is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that made us feel right at home. The gardens perfect for dogs - totally private and furnished nicely. We enjoyed exploring the nearby walks and tried some great restaurants in Thaxted, especially The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend!

We stayed at this charming cottage on a working farm and loved how secluded it was, yet still private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are just lovely and made us feel really welcome. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The gardens perfect for dogs, completely dog-proof and with nice furniture. Lots of nice walks nearby and we had great food at The Star and The Maypole in Thaxted. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing weekend here and totally loved our stay. The place was just perfect for what we needed. Our dogs had a blast with the underfloor heating and running around in the garden. Luna even wagged her tail so much she hurt it, but she was super happy all weekend. Well definitely be coming back!

We stayed at this place during a rainy December and honestly, it was perfect. The house is super well equipped and kept us cosy all weekend. The bath was fantastic and the shower was big enough for a proper rinse! Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all-dont let that put you off. Ideal spot for dogs that dislike fireworks, in the middle of nowhere. Thanks a lot!

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners are genuinely warm and helpful, making us feel very welcome from the start. The place itself is spotless, super cosy and well heated-perfect for relaxing after a day out. The shower is great and the bed was really comfy. Parking right next to the cottage is a big plus and we enjoyed walking through the fields to Thaxted. Definitely a place we'd return to!

We had such a lovely stay in this charming little spot. The location is stunning and feels very private, which we really appreciated. The owners are super friendly and helpful, always nearby if you need anything but without intruding on your peace. The hot tub was a real highlight after a day out cycling-absolutely perfect! A quick heads-up: the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!
