The lodge didn't quite match the photos, being a bit dusty and not as clean as expected. However, the staff at reception were super friendly and helpful. The location and the property itself were really lovely, so overall, not too bad!

Honestly, the staff here are genuinely fantastic. Super friendly, always ready to help and great at keeping us updated. They really do stand out as some of the nicest folks we've come across at any park. We did have a bit of a hiccup with the lodge, though. The barn looked pretty worn out and in need of some serious TLC. No hot tub on the first night was a bit of a letdown, especially since my MS was flaring up and I was really hoping to soak and relax. It took until the second night for it to heat up again, which was a bit frustrating. The place itself is tired, quite battered and honestly, pretty grimy in places. We were a bit shocked to find old toothpicks in the rug! Despite that, the bedding was clean and the staffs attitude made up for it. Would definitely return for the staff alone!

The cabin was absolutely stunning-spotlessly clean, modern and really feels like a show home when you arrive. Sitting in the hot tub with that view over the lake was just perfect. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay in the 3-bedroom barn. It looked exactly like the photos - actually, maybe even better! Everything we needed was there. Definitely recommend it and well be coming back for sure. Lovely place!

The lodge was fine - the sofa not the most comfortable but OK. The light switches were very confusing. Lovely deck and outside seating.Beds comfortable and bathrooms clean.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge; its spacious and beautifully decorated with a modern touch. Honestly, its one of the nicer places weve stayed in! The only downside was the heating, which kept breaking down, so maintenance had to come every day, saying it was a manufacturing fault. They offered us a move, but we decided to stick it out. Also, on our last night, the hot tub jets werent working properly because it was in demo mode, but we told reception when we checked out the next morning.

The lodge was really spacious, which we loved and the quality of everything was top-notch. Only thing missing was bigger beds, but overall, superb stay!

Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the overall experience. The place was quite dirty and the pool definitely needs a proper clean and a shutdown for maintenance. The showers in the charging rooms? Not somewhere Id even wash my dog in-they looked grimy and neglected. The lockers were another letdown; theyre shabby and some locks dont even work, which is really frustrating. When it comes to the pool, you cant go more than once a day, which was a bit of a pain. We booked it for our grandchildren, but after the first visit, they didnt want to go back-says a lot about the condition, I think. Interestingly, its the only free activity, yet whenever we went near, it was practically empty. You have to leave your shoes outside before entering, with no secure place to keep them, which is a bit of a hassle. Staff often walk from outside directly onto the poolside, so it doesnt feel very secure or hygienic. For anyone with mobility issues, its not ideal. Theres a stair lift, but you have to ask reception to use it, which isnt very convenient. The stairs up to the bar are a pain and down by the Flowrider, theres no lift at all-just stairs. If you want to exit at ground level, you need to go through the emergency exit and take off your shoes, which is a bit of a faff. My daughter was taken through treatment rooms once just to get out-really not great. Parking for disabled visitors is poorly managed too. Staff seem to park in disabled bays at the main reception and some additional spaces are blocked by holidaymakers or staff. When booking, its worth checking if your pathway to the accommodation is step-free; ours had stairs, which we didnt realise beforehand. The grounds around the site could definitely do with some TLC. In terms of activities, theyve got age and height limits, so check those beforehand. Our grandchildren are 12 and 10 and they needed an adult with them in the aqua park, which was a bit of a shame because were a disabled family, so some activities were off-limits. The Flowrider was definitely a highlight though-its fantastic and the instructors are excellent. Our granddaughter, who usually lacks confidence, was standing up by the end, which was lovely to see. We also tried to book a table at the restaurant; two staff members took our phone numbers, but nobody ever got back to us. We had to book online instead. On a positive note, our accommodation was really lovely-everything we needed was there. And the staff were friendly, which we appreciated. Overall, its a mixed bag, but some things need serious improvement.

We stayed at this lodge recently and it was surprisingly modern and neat, even if it wasnt quite what we expected from the photos. The layout was decent, though the balcony wasnt very private, which was a bit of a letdown. The sofa was a bit uncomfortable, looking a bit broken in the middle and it didnt really seat four comfortably - we ended up using a random chair as a makeshift lounge spot. We had to bring the garden furniture inside because it wasnt very practical outside. The beds were really comfy and the blackout curtains were a nice touch, especially for sleeping in. The lodge was warm when we arrived, but we had to turn the radiators off as it got quite hot. Sadly, there were no curtains or blinds on the corridor windows, which was a bit odd. It was handy to have a dustpan and brush, though a bigger one or a hoover wouldve been better. The kitchen was well laid out but a bit cramped for storage and we missed having a measuring jug. Overall, not perfect but still a decent stay.

We stayed in the 4-bed lodge with the hot tub and rooftop terrace, which was lovely. The 2-bed looked really nice too, but it only had one bathroom, so we probably would've gone for that if it had a second one. Overall, a good stay!

Overall, our holiday was okay, but we faced a few annoyances. The electrics kept tripping twice and we were told to leave a switch off, which didnt help much. The lack of toilet rolls was frustrating, having to ask for more. Outside furniture looked neglected and could do with a good clean. Signage around the park would also be helpful for visitors.
