Very basic things but no washing machine .Nothing on site some areas of decking need upgrading and/or replacing . Outside of lodge needed a food clean all round but.this was the same looking at all the others as well

Furniture needs updating and better more comfortable furniture for the price.Older guests need slightly higher sofas and TV's that don't require a degree in IT and computing.

The lodge was lovely but starting to get tired, apparently it is the next one to be gutted and re-fitted. Beds very hard and uncomfortable, bathroom on ground floor excellent except one of the sinks had a problem with the plug - they came to fix it but next day same problem. Upstairs sink had similar problem but was not touched. Kitchen a little tired, not enough mugs or glasses (we don't all want pint pots or wine glasses).Hot tub was good and great to get into after travelling.Outside was very scenic looking over a pond, wildlife brilliant - baby coots and the geese brought their 5 goslings to see us once they knew we had seed!!Location ideal for exploring the area, Hornsea is a pretty little village with lot's of individual shops and plenty of eating places. If lodge is re-vamped we would be happy to return.

Really disappointing. Stayed in 4 bedroom lodge that is in desperate need of updating. Dining chairs falling apart. Broken bed that would of been see when being made up. Grounds full of dog mess and cigarette butts .Staff were very quick to assist us with issues

I would say this is one of the best locations I've been too, no entertainment which is brilliant as it's so quiet local area is lovely It is being developed but I hope n9t too much so it doesn't lose its friendly family run vibe

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us really warm, which was much needed on that rainy December day. The bath was such a treat and the shower was great too. Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all, honestly. Perfect spot if your dog hates fireworks - totally peaceful out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks so much for having us!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The place was spotless and peaceful, perfect for couples. Hosts were super friendly and the hot tub was a real treat. Pets loved the garden too!

Our Lodge was nice just in need so some updating. The mattress's on the beds are knackered and have no support so the sleep wasn't great. The showers also need replacing as the walk in one had a shower head that just jetted out quite hard and when you turned the lever around it didn't change it wouldnt spray anymore. The shower in the other room in the bath, the lever that changed it from bath to shower wouldnt stay so I had to hold it while my little boy showered as the other shower was a bit sore. Apart from these the lodge was very clean and well equipped for our stay.

Absolutely loved our time at Goddards Mead! The cottage was perfect in every aspect. Can't wait to return soon.

Clean and tidy

We just got back from a wonderful week at Goddards Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and was super comfy. The hosts made us feel right at home. Even being on a farm, it was such a peaceful little escape. Love it!

Very dated dirty. Have been in the past but needs a good clean.

Lots of home comforts and we'll equipped. Could do with better quality mattresses as they weren't the most comfortable

We loved staying at this charming little cottage. Its perfectly tucked away for peace but still close to shops and local spots. The hot tub was a highlight and the underfloor heating kept everything super cosy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel really welcome. Cant wait to return!

We stayed at this place recently and honestly, it felt like we were in a little home away from home. Everything was spotless and tidy, which was a relief. We always wash our dishes beforehand, but it was clear that everything had just been through the dishwasher, so no worries there. The hot tub was fantastic-clean and perfect for relaxing. My only gripe is that on the morning we checked out, we noticed someone, probably maintenance, walking around our lodge at about 8am and by 9am they were draining the hot tub. We could have easily been enjoying it! Our checkout was at 10am, so it felt a bit rushed, like they were eager to get us out. Still, a lovely stay overall.
