Carervan very nice clean spacious.

Caravan is more suitable for family of 4 tight squeeze if bigger no proper table and chairs for eating benches and no outside furniture so take your own if you want to sit outside

Very spacious, new, well equipped accommodation. Very Comfortable.

The place was perfect for unwinding, super quiet and our dog loved the secure garden too.

We had a lovely stay at this charming little spot. The privacy was spot on, tucked away in a peaceful area, yet the owners were really friendly and always there if we needed anything. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling - honestly, it was just what we needed. One thing to keep in mind, though - the cottage sits right under Stansteds flight path, so there's quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt spoil our trip at all. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely spot, tucked away in a quiet, private setting that felt really special. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, always nearby if we needed anything, but still maintaining our privacy. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day cycling, absolute bliss! One thing to keep in mind though, the cottage is right under the flight path, so theres quite a lot of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after a while, but it might be a bit much if youre sensitive to noise. Still, wed definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this good place! The cottage sits peacefully on a working farm but feels totally private - perfect for relaxing. Robert and Sharon are genuinely lovely hosts, making us feel right at home. The place is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed thats perfect after a day exploring. The gardens completely dog-proof and great for unwinding. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxteds eateries like The Star and The Maypole are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!

We recently stayed at Goddard's Mead and were really impressed. Rob and Sharon have done a lovely job converting the historic building with such care. They were incredibly welcoming when we arrived, making us feel right at home, along with Bonnies friendly presence. The location is perfect for exploring Essexs charming villages like Thaxted - its worth taking the time to wander around and soak in the history and beautiful architecture. Highly recommended for a relaxing break!

We just got back from a four-night stay at this cosy cottage and had a really nice time. The owners were super friendly but never intrusive, which was great. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed and the hot tub was definitely a highlight! We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was spotless and really well equipped, making it super comfortable. There are loads of dog walks right outside, which was perfect for our pups. The host was so friendly and quick to respond. Meeting the farm animals, especially Pig Penelope, was a real highlight. Well definitely return - great value and highly recommend!

We had such a lovely weekend here! The place was perfect for what we needed and were already planning to return. Our dogs had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating and the garden to run around in. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it-cant blame her! Definitely a hit with both us and the pups!

We had a lovely time during our stay! Sharon and Robert really went out of their way to make us feel at home, which was much appreciated. The place was spotless, cosy and perfect for our dog Archie - he loved it! The location was spot on, with loads of great walks nearby and Thaxted and the surrounding villages are just charming. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling. Only thing to note is that the cottage is directly under Stansteds flight path, so aircraft noise is quite loud at times. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!

Great little holiday park for a weekend away - beach is nearby as well as the pleasure Beach. Great spot and lovely staff & accommodation.

Our car had to be recovered by Greenflag, the reception helped us so much they got our caravan ready before 12 mid day and were all very approachable 10/10

Lovely site in an ideal place.
Only thing that could improve it is a shop on the site there is one on the other site up the road so not a big deal.

Loved our holiday here very quiet and relaxed we didn’t come in contact with staff or at the clubhouse as we were busy doing other stuff but an amazing holiday we will be back next year

Great caravan, shame about the other people in a close caravan near us who would come back and then put the car radio on full then go inside with no thought to others. Park nicely laid out not to hard to find, great standard of home when we arrived. Shame we did not know that we could of walked from the camp straight to the castle as there is an entrance in the corner.
