Lovely and spacious and room

Had not hot water and boiler wasn't working when we arrived. Site tried and poor, bins not emptied often enough, parking terrible, pool wasn't brilliant. Local shop and beach not far away. Wouldn't go again.

We loved staying here! The rural setting is so peaceful and the courtyard with its slate really set the scene. The hot-tub made it feel super luxurious, perfect for unwinding after walks.

We recently stayed at Goddard's Mead and felt so welcomed by Rob, Sharon and Bonnie. Theyve really put a lot of effort into beautifully restoring this historic building and it shows. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing break. The location is ideal, nestled in a lovely part of Essex. We highly recommend exploring Thaxted and surrounding villages - so much history and charm to discover. Definitely a place to visit!

The caravan was generally quite clean, which was nice. A few issues like some dirty glassware and crisps shoved down the sofa were a bit off-putting, but overall okay.

Value for money for a break during half term. Caravan was clean but very 'simple'Plenty of facilities in the caravan for cooking. Would suit a family of 4, although sleeps 6 it's abit of a pain pulling out the sofa bed in a small living room and having to find somewhere to store the table (which ended up on top of the sofa!) The beds are a tad small, but manageable for afew days away

We had such a lovely stay! The owners are genuinely friendly and really go out of their way to help. The cottage itself is adorable, with charming timber framing and a super comfy bed. The shower is powerful and the heating kept everything cosy. Parking right next to the cottage made things so much easier. We enjoyed walking across the fields to Thaxted - a beautiful village with those classic half-timbered houses and a windmill. Definitely recommend!

We booked for a dog walking getaway and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place was lovely, close to local pubs and fields and our dog loved exploring. Definitely coming back again!

We stayed at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm and its honestly quite private despite the busy surroundings. Robert and Sharon are lovely hosts, really friendly and welcoming. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was super comfy and the gardens perfect for dogs-completely private and with nice furniture. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some great restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!

The place has everything you need for a chilled-out visit. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially Thaxted and the nearby villages. Definitely worth taking some time to wander and soak up the history and charming sights around. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super cosy and well kitted out, perfect for a chilly December day. The bath was a real treat and the shower was spacious too. The location is ideal, especially if your dogs dislike fireworks, as it's so tucked away. The house itself is beautifully converted and really charming. Thanks a lot for a lovely break!

Honestly, we had a fantastic stay! The lodge was spot on - roomy, cosy and fully equipped with everything we needed. The wet room was a real highlight and those 3ft single beds made all the difference. Having a dishwasher and washer/dryer was such a bonus. Wed definitely come back!

We stayed here for a week in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, the dogs loved every minute, making friends in the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage is really lovely, especially the hot tub - perfect for those blazing hot days, as it was cooled down and super refreshing. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming; it was nice to see them taking their dogs out to the fields daily. Being near Stansteds flight path was pretty interesting too, watching the planes land. Wed definitely recommend a stay here - its a lovely spot!

This is a great base camp for visiting neighbouring towns, Clean and tidy and big, so you weren't on top of one another. There was no outside decking or seating at our caravan, so if you want it, don'tget one on a corner. Apparently this was the reason, understand about the decking, but there was plenty of room for seating. The beach was over the road (not a busy road) and went on for miles. Good coastal walk with amazing views. Food in the cafe was lovely as was the chippy. All staff were friendly and engaging.

Fantastic location..caravan was lovely and clean..staff were brilliant very helpful with my picky diet ? would definitely come again.

Had a fab time at Pendine Sands. Lovely camp, the caravan 3 bedrooms was excellent with 2 bathrooms, great veranda for sitting out, only dissapointment was the size of the swimming pool. The beach is close by. Overall would highly reccommend.

Lovely quiet park, great facilities for kids and the beautiful is beautiful, Carmarthen town is only 20 minutes in the car where you can find a Tesco or lidl. Would definitely recommend
