The caravan was perfect, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and the dishwasher and good WiFi was a bonus. The deck was lovely to sit out on and the views were gorgeous.

I highly recommend a stay here, great accomodation and facilities.

Its a lovely new caravan! Bed it is a typical caravan bed, never comfortable for us, doors are squeaky as usual. The furnitures are amazing, kitchen the same amazing!

We had such a lovely stay. The owners are genuinely warm and thoughtful, making everything feel easy and welcoming. The cottages charm really stood out - a beautiful half-timbered place with a powerful shower, a cosy kitchen and lounge area and a super comfy bed. Parking right outside was a real bonus. Its well heated, spotless and perfect for exploring the nearby fields and the charming village of Thaxted, just a short drive away. Wed definitely come back!

We had a really lovely stay at this cottage. Its tucked away on a working farm but feels very private and peaceful. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are super friendly and welcoming. The place itself is spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave! The gardens perfect for dogs, fully enclosed and furnished nicely. Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxteds got some cracking restaurants-The Star and The Maypole are favourites, while The Swan and Indian are decent too. Wed definitely recommend it.

The dog walks right outside were a big bonus and we loved meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the curious pig. The host was friendly and responsive. Definitely coming back, great value for money!

The welcome pack was super helpful, with all the info and menus we needed. The owners, Sharon and Rob, were quick to respond if we had any questions. The cottage is really charming and perfect for a peaceful escape. Just a heads-up, there are night flights from Stanstead, but the hot tub makes up for it. Loved it!

The hot tub was a real highlight after cycling all day! Just a heads up, the cottage is under Stansteds flight path, so there's quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt ruin our trip. Overall, a great little getaway if you dont mind the occasional noise.

The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling - absolute bliss! A heads up though, the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us after a while, but if you're sensitive to noise, its worth knowing. Overall, a great find!

Our dog loved the big fenced garden and the place had everything we could ask for. The hot tub was a real highlight and we even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. A beautifully maintained site with wonderful views. There's a pub at the entrance (looks nice but we didn't visit this time), an onsite laundry and a small shop in reception. I would definitely recommend that you bring enough food as there are NO supermarkets to nip out to (a Costcutter in Lynmouth has essentials but not much selection for more than a couple of days).

A brilliant place to navigate north Devon. Any problems were sorted very quickly with very friendly staff.

We had a perfectly lovely stay at Lynmouth Holiday Retreat, the staff couldn't have been nicer they came to find us as we got a little lost, then took us straight to our caravan, which was amazing, the height of cleanliness, even a little pot of teabags, coffee, chocolate, sugar and milk to greet us on arrival, we will book again, the site was very much a retreat very peaceful, easy to get out and about and lovely to come back to a little quiet, the staff were always cheery and smiley, a lovely holiday thankyou.

This place is amazing I cannot recommend it enough and no iam not related to anyone who runs it lol it was just an amazing stay the view is phenomenal just wish I could wake up to it every day so good for well being will defiantly stay again ten out of ten
