Loved the dog-friendly walks just outside and meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. The host was lovely, friendly and quick to respond. Our dogs had a blast, especially with the underfloor heating - they didnt want to leave the garden! Lunas wagging tail got a bit strained, but the vet says shes fine. All in all, a great trip for us and the pups!

The place is super spacious and the kitchen and bathroom are well-equipped. Honestly, the bed was so comfy we didnt want to get up! The garden is perfect for dogs, totally secluded with nice furniture. There are plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed dining at The Star and The Maypole in Thaxted. Definitely recommend it!

The shower was surprisingly powerful, which was a bonus. We loved the cosy kitchen and comfy bed. Parking right next to the cottage made everything so easy. Lots of great walks nearby, especially through fields to Thaxted, which is a picturesque village with lovely old houses and a windmill. Definitely recommend!

The hosts were so welcoming, it was nice to see them taking their dogs out to the fields each day. Being near Stansteds flight path was actually pretty interesting - I enjoyed watching the planes land. Would definitely recommend this place!
