We arrived about an hour early after giving a quick call, which was no problem at all. The lodge was spotless and beautifully decorated - it felt really cosy. There was tea, coffee, sugar, some milk and even a bottle of wine waiting for us, which was a lovely touch! The road nearby was only noticeable in complete silence; with the TV, music, or hot tub on, you couldnt hear it. The mattresses werent super comfy for us, but thats just personal taste. All in all, we had a great stay and already want to come back!

The lodge had all we needed, from a hairdryer to tea towels and dishwasher tablets. The dressing gowns in the main bedroom were perfect after the hot tub!

The owners were really welcoming when we got there, showing us around and explaining everything clearly. The lodge was spotless and beautifully furnished. Lovely stay!

We really enjoyed the peaceful neighbourhood and the convenient location. Parking was a bit tricky because of the pebbly ground and some potholes, but it was manageable. Its a shame there was no WIFI - streaming and Netflix wouldve been a nice touch. Staff were super friendly and the cottage had everything we needed.
