This was our 2nd visit, and we got the same lodge we had 5 years ago. The lodge needs updating and looks tired now. The fridge/freezer needs to be repaired/replaced, although still usable. The lodge needs new and extra utensils/pots and pans for self catering purposes. Weve had to improvise quite a bit. The beds and bed linen were good quality and we slept well. We did not use the towels. The hot tub was great. It was quite expensive, especially as the lodge was so dated.

Second visit and well be back again. Excellent for a relaxing weekend. The lodge was in a very private location. Lovely view and we saw deer from our windows.

Cleanliness would have been higher except for a couple of minor issues. The freezer was so iced up the door would not seal properly. Also the kitchen bin had a black bag in when we arrived but when it was removed the bin was filthy with bits of old food!

Just a 2 night break to visit family but would recommend Warren Estate and lodge to anyone wanting a well equipped rural retreat of a high standard.

The lodge is great, very comfortable, 6 adults doesn't feel small, lots of room, bedrooms very big. A few little things like TV not working in one room and a few cosmetic things as the lodge is well used, but other than that, a great lodge to rent.
