Great week away looking forwardto re booking in the future

The accommodation was really nice but more can be done when it comes to deep cleaning and preparing it as we spent a bit of time on arrival cleaning some of the surfaces and furniture properly. But overall the kids enjoyed and fun was had by all.

Great caravan for size and layout, albeit a dirty shower and some dry blood stains in the lounge. The caravan was sold as an 8 berth and fortunately there was only 4 of us as we only had 4 dinner plates.

The beds were not comfortable - mattresses need replacement.

Caravan was small, carpets and sofa filthy. Bathroom smelt of mould / damp. Kitchen was poorly equipped and the one tray in the cupboard was dirty. No dustpan and brush to clean. Table was falling apart maintenance had to come and fix it. Bedrooms were tiny but clean, the plastic on the mattresses is rather uncomfortable and annoying.

Will definitely book another caravan at this park clean tidy and nice friendly staff location great for a seaside resort lots of shops selling buckets and spades etc and food outlets

All awful it stank it was not clean our dining table was broke we dreaded touching anything incase it broke

The toilet brush smelt of cigarettes when arrived from the last people. Caravans to packed in close together. Caravan very spacious good shower with hot water.

We had a really lovely stay! Sharon and Robert were such warm hosts, making us feel totally at home. The place had everything we needed-spotlessly clean, comfy and secure for our dog, Archie. The location was perfect, with loads of nice walks around and the charming villages nearby. Honestly, we left feeling super relaxed and recharged - it was just what we needed. Definitely a great break for us!

We have stayed in platinum lodges before, but this one was very spacious and had ample storage. Lovely lodge with everything you need.

I did not enjoy our stay in this caravan. The caravan was clean and tidy. But there was no products for daily use like kitchen rolls, washing up liquid. There was no personal care products either like hand wash, towels, duvets. The water tasted off and we had digestion from drinking the tap water. The toilets very very small and could hardly fit inside.

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels really private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are such friendly people, making us feel right at home. The place itself is surprisingly spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, plus a super comfy bed. The garden is perfect for dogs - totally secure and with nice outdoor furniture. Plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed dining out in Thaxted at The Star and The Maypole - both are worth a visit. Honestly, wed happily go back!

We spent a week here from 15th to 22nd July with our two adorable mini dachshunds and they loved every minute of it! The village of Thaxted is charming and the cottage itself is cosy with a lovely touch - the hot tub. It was perfect for cooling off during the hottest days of the year. The hosts were genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome. Watching planes land near Stansted was surprisingly fun, adding a bit of excitement to our stay. Overall, a lovely place wed happily return to!

We had a really relaxing weekend here, perfect for our quiet anniversary. Definitely recommend it!

We had such a lovely stay at this cosy spot tucked away in a peaceful setting. The owners were genuinely friendly and always on hand if we needed anything, but they kept a respectful distance to maintain privacy. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling. One thing to note is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so aircraft noise is noticeable. It didnt bother us too much once we got used to it, but its worth mentioning if youre sensitive to noise. Overall, a great place to unwind!

The welcome pack was really handy, with all the info and menus, which showed how much thought had gone into it. The little extras for us and our dogs were a lovely touch. The enclosed garden was perfect for the pups and the hot tub was the cherry on top. Thanks for a great break!

The caravan was spotless and really comfy, which we appreciated. However, missing essentials like a hairdryer and iron was a bit disappointing. Still, a nice stay overall!

Really enjoyed the stay overall

The caravan was really spacious and spotless, perfect for five of us. The sofa wasnt the comfiest, but fine for a quick weekend trip. We had a good time overall!

We booked a dog walking getaway and it was just what we needed. The place was lovely, with great local pubs and endless country walks nearby. Our dog loved it and didnt want to leave! Definitely recommend.

We stayed at this place during a rainy December and honestly, it was perfect. The house is super well-equipped and kept us cosy the whole time. The bath was fantastic and the shower was a nice big one-just what we needed. The location is ideal, especially if your dogs hate fireworks, as its really out in the middle of nowhere. No noise at all from the flight path either. Thanks a lot!

We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were lovely. The owners made us feel so welcome, it was a great experience.
