Absolutely the best holiday, retreat, its such a beautiful healing place, stunning forest walks, fab Hot Tub, Dog friendly in alot of lodges, I seriously can't praise this place enough....love love love it!

Beautiful lodge, comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen with a large fridge and freezer.. We like the utility room and always make use of the washer and dryer. The outside area of the lodge had been upgraded since our last visit and was a fabulous addition, especially the covered area surrounding the new hot tub.If i was to make any suggestions I would say the pillows could do with being renewed and the dining chairs are quite hard to sit on, other than that it is our favourite place to stay

Another wonderful stay at Griffon Forest- although we were unlucky with the weather this didnt spoil our stay- right from the warm welcome from a familiar face at reception to the friendly goodbye the staff we encountered were all great. Any issues were noted & advice given about how to enhance our stay.The lodges(weve stayed in 14 & 7) are of a high standard & my wife & I would absolutely recommend this fabulous location.

Perfect for us and the dog

Wonderful place which was well kept with good facilities. The decor is perfect along with the four poster beds. The welcome packs and personalised doggie bag was very much appreciated by our Guide Dog mum Jenny who didn't stop playing with the squeaky toy the whole time we were there. The walks, birds, badgers and deer were amazing and you really felt privileged to be able to watch and feed them. Can't wait to come back. Thanks to the staff for being so helpful, proactive and friendly.

Bathroom is tired and fencing wasn't 100% secure for our dogs.

Only thing would be some where to hang washing to dry

The Lodge was very clean and we love how comfy the Beds are .It is very well Equipped even Washing machine and Dryer

The jacuzzi bath had the knobs loose but the lodge is due for a complete refurbishment.Fully equipped kitchenNew decking layout fantastic and one of the largest decks I have stayed at.

Well equipped lodge, spotlessly clean, plenty of towels. Could do with a mat to stand on from the hot tub to the bedroom as it could get quite slippy.

The place was so calming and perfect for our dog, with a fully enclosed garden! Loved it.

The hot tub was a real highlight after a long cycle day! Just a heads up, the cottage is directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth considering. Overall, a great getaway.

We just got back from a four-night stay at this charming cottage and honestly, we had a lovely time. The owners are super friendly but not in your face, which was perfect. The garden is huge and secure - great for our dog to run around. The place had everything we needed and we even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. The hot tub? Absolutely brilliant! Wed definitely come back and have already told friends about it. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
