Really enjoyed the stay, especially the hot tub!

We had such a lovely stay at this lodge, even with the unpredictable weather. The place is super peaceful, which we really enjoyed and it didnt bother us at all. Plus, there's a charming licensed cafe just across the road called the Spotted Duck, serving gorgeous food and offering takeaways. Well definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was spotless and well-stocked, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect for dog walks just outside the door, which was a big plus. The host was really friendly and quick to respond. Meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real highlight. Cant wait to return!

We honestly enjoyed our stay here. The lodges were spotless and super cosy and the owners were genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. Its a peaceful spot, but youll need to drive if you want a nice evening walk or a pub meal-no footpaths nearby.

We stayed for four nights in one of the Octi-Lodge Spas and honestly, it was brilliant! Super cosy and warm, with everything you could possibly need. The shower had plenty of hot water, which was a relief. The spa was such a treat and we loved the skylight-lying in bed and gazing at the stars (if the sky was clear) was just magical. The tea rooms nearby are definitely worth a visit. The owners are genuinely friendly. Well be back for sure!

We stayed here for a week from 15 to 22 July with our two little Daschund girls and they loved every minute! They made friends with some local pups in the village of Thaxted, which was adorable. The cottage itself was really charming and the hot tub was such a treat-perfect for cooling off during the heatwave. The hosts were super welcoming; it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields each day. Also, being close to Stansted meant we got to watch the planes land, which added to the fun. Would definitely recommend!

Honestly, we had such a great stay here! We pulled up around 4:20 pm and got straight into the accommodation - the first impressions were definitely WOW. While we were unpacking, Stephen, the owner, came over to introduce himself. Such a lovely bloke! He took the time to chat and give us all the info about the site and the place, which was really nice. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We had a fantastic first nights sleep and kept enjoying the hot tub every evening. The local area is worth exploring too. This place really helped us unwind after a tough year and were already planning to come back. Couldnt recommend it enough! Its the perfect little getaway for some chill time. We had a lovely stay at this pod! The facilities are spot on, especially the well-equipped kitchen and the comfy bed that made sleeping a breeze. The hot tub was a real highlight-used it every day, definitely a plus. The setting is super peaceful, nestled in the countryside with lots of natural sounds that really help you unwind. The outdoor area is enclosed, perfect for our dog. We didnt need much interaction with staff, but they were friendly and quick to reply when we reached out. Would definitely recommend for a chill outdoor getaway!

We really loved the bed, so comfy! The shower was excellent with hot water coming through quickly. The fridge had a freezer section, perfect for ice cream. It was a bit smaller than expected, but the drawers under the bed were a nice surprise for storage. We just missed a wardrobe, but overall, it suited us perfectly!

The place had everything we needed-spotlessly clean, comfy and safe for our dog Archie. The location was perfect for exploring, with lots of lovely walks and charming villages like Thaxted nearby.
