Will be back next year

As stated the site was on the edge of the main road as well as being on the edge of the forest as in the name sake.

Few cushions on sofa and new net curtains as ours had wholes in them

We honestly loved every bit of it! The place was so well thought out, really comfy. The hosts were super friendly and genuinely helpful. Such a lovely spot for a break - well definitely be back!

As said before, the caravan needs a lot of TLC. Radiators need a lick of paint as all rusty, seltaped remote. Stain on sheets, missing knives. Lots of wear and tear to the actual caravan which make it such a shame.

Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back soon.

Caravan was a good size and had excellent facilities and all the cooking equipment we could need (except a bread knife). The kitchen was also very clean.Unfortunately however other areas of the accommodation werent overly clean, with dirty edges on the bathroom floor, the living space carpet had an unpleasant odour and the sofa cushions were stained.

We found the caravan spotless and smelling fresh, even with four adults inside. Plenty of space for everyone and the hot tub was well taken care of, with the maintenance guy checking it almost daily. Really impressed!

We had such a lovely weekend here! The place had everything we needed and more. Our dogs absolutely adored the underfloor heating and playing outside in the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but she was clearly having a blast! Were definitely coming back - its a win for both us and the pups!

Caravan nice and clean, could of done with a better mattress. Warned about ants, kept everything clean but were still overrun with them

Lovely small park with spotless, well equipped caravans. No facilities but guests can use Oakdene Forest next door.Lots of traffic noise from A31 but we knew that when we booked.Highly recommend for a break in the New Forest.

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place ticked all our boxes and we really enjoyed our stay. Our dogs had a blast with the underfloor heating and the garden was perfect for them. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but shes fine now. Were already planning to come back soon! Very pleased all round.

We stayed at this cosy little cottage and it truly has everything you could possibly need. We didnt realise how well stocked it was until we loaded up the car! The welcome pack was a lovely touch, full of helpful info and menus. The owners, Sharon and Rob, were super quick to reply if we had any questions. We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were perfect. The owners were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Lovely experience!

We stayed in the caravan and honestly, it was surprisingly comfy-way better than many lodges we've been in before. Can't really find any faults with it at all.

We spent a fantastic week here with our two little dachshunds and they had a great time making friends in Thaxted. The cottage itself is charming and the hot tub was definitely a highlight-especially during the scorching days when the cooled water felt so refreshing. The hosts were lovely and really welcoming; it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields every day. Being close to the Stansted flight path was interesting to watch the planes land. Overall, wed happily recommend for a relaxing getaway. Will be back!

The owners are genuinely lovely and welcoming. When the storm knocked out the power, they went above and beyond to help. The cottage was spotless, cosy and well-equipped. Our dog loved the secure garden and the hot tub was a real treat!

The cottage is lovely and perfect if you're after some peace and quiet. Just a heads up, planes can be noisy at night since its close to Stansted. Hot tubs a real treat!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us cosy on that rainy December day. The bath was really lovely and the shower was big enough for a proper rinse. We had an absolutely lovely stay at this cosy cottage. The peaceful setting was just what we needed to unwind. The hot tub was a real treat and the place was spotless with all the essentials. Plenty of walks nearby, perfect for a relaxing break. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our holiday very much, our van was clean & of a good standard, the park is very clean, not very large but the sister site is close by for swimming & entertainment. There are a couple of dog friendly pubs which do good food nearby. This site is quiet & just outside the entrance is forest which is great for dog walking which our dog loved. We would definitely return to this site to see more of Hampshire.

Just what we wanted peace and quiet. Mobile home was excellent had more than everything we needed. Very happy customer would definitely go back again. Gives you time to recharge your batteties.

Only concern was the constant noise from the A31

Back from a lovely weekend break at Forest Edge. Very small site but use of Oakdene facilities. The site was very very clean and with just my husband and our dog perfect location for forest walks. Would recommend and will stay again

Easy self check-in. Really lovely, clean and spacious 3 bed. Tidy very well kept park. Great location with walking distance to forest. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. The best uk holiday park we have stayed in by far.
