Amazing, clean, spacious lodge. Comfy bed and pillows. The cover over the hot tub was lovely especially in the rain! We would definitely book again.

We had a really lovely weekend overall. Usually, we'd say it's worth a solid 10 for value, but the check-in and check-out times slightly cut into our plans, mainly because of all the extra cleaning at the moment. Still, we totally get it. Its just a shame we didnt get as much time as we hoped, but well definitely come back! :)

We enjoyed Hazel Lodge very much. The mattresses could do with updating though on the single beds.

The accommodation was lovely and clean, but the hot tub was a bit grimy. Decking needs a good scrub.

We had a genuinely lovely stay! Sharon and Robert really went out of their way to make us feel at home, which we appreciated. The place was spotless, comfy and perfect for Archie - he loved the secure garden. The location was spot on; plenty of walks nearby and exploring Thaxted and the surrounding villages was a real treat. Honestly, we left feeling refreshed and relaxed, which was just what we needed.

We had a really nice few days overall. We decided to head home a day early because of the terrible weather and trying to keep the dog clean after walks was a bit of a hassle. Nothing to do with the lodge, just Mother Nature messing about.

The owners really know what theyre doing. We had such a relaxing stay and will definitely tell our friends about it!

We had a great winter getaway with friends at this modern lodge. The hot tub was perfect, especially with the cover. Two comfy double bedrooms, one with en-suite and a spacious main bathroom. Definitely a lovely spot for a short break!

We really enjoyed our stay here, such a tranquil spot and perfect for our dog too!

We were pleasantly surprised when we got upgraded to Hawthorn Lodge. The photos on the website hadn't been updated, so we didn't expect it to look so lovely. It really exceeded our expectations and we had a great stay!

Really impressed with the place, felt like home instantly.
