Had a lovely weekend break for my 60th Birthday with my husband, sister & brother in law fantastic lodge and peaceful surroundings had a lovely meal in the local pub and the staff were amazing, my sister had the table decorated lovely surprise x

Brilliant relaxing break to unwind. Just what we needed after the past 5 months. Perfect staycation.

We loved our break away and would definitely book to stay here again.

Friendly staff, very comfortable lodge. Felt private and was quiet.

I stayed in the amour deluxe Lodge with my partner for a long weekend in March. We had an amazing weekend the lodge was beautiful and exceptionally clean, the hot tub was checked by staff every day and the surroundings made for a beautiful peaceful getaway. The only negatives I would say would be there didn't seem to be any staff around when we arrived which was fine as it was late but the lodge wasn't clearly marked like the others so we were worried about walking in on someone else and the bed wasn't the comfiest other than that it was a lovely weekend.

We had a lovely weekend away at Charlesworth Lodges. We found the lodges to be well equipped, spacious yet cosy and a nice relaxing place to stay as a family. The only minor issue was the hot tub - it was quite awkward to get in and there was no hooks to put dressing gowns/towels. The water was cold on the second day of going in so we didn't really get good use out of it.

I would highly recommend for a quiet relaxing break away from it all

Lodge is great, they could provide more than 3 teabags for a 3 night stay! We remembered lack of tea coffee and sugar from last time so brought our own. That aside it is well equipped and we will be back!

Sofas need upgrading. Pillows on bed very flat but didnt spoil our break in the slightest over all a lovely Christmas break lodge very clean and homely and well equipped. Would definitely return.

We spent a wonderful few days in this cottage. Its very well equipped with everything you need. The hot tub-amazing. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Location is beautiful and really quiet. Will be returning next year.

Couldn't fault the lodge in any way..Had a problem with the water heater tripping out, but it was soon sorted , and the chap who reset it was so apologetic that I not even going to knock a point off..

A great little place, to escape the cares of the world. A real home-from-home, with a cosy and comfortable feeling. Highly recommended.

Throughly enjoyed the week break at The Old Barn Cottage.
The pictures do not do it justice. Lovely touches like dressing gowns, double showerhead, smart tv and i could go on.
Very clean and modern throughout.
If i were to be highly crictical, the drive to cottage/lodges is a long single track and no room to pass so becomes a battle of wills who reverses.
That aside, perfect.

Lovely lodge, beautifully presented. It is perfect for a relaxing break. It is within easy reach of local towns including Marple and Glossop. We actually walked into Glossop and stopped at a lovely pub along the way. The lodge was clean and had everything we needed, including cooking equipment. The only downside (if you can even call it that) was the WiFi, it was a little slow but that's ok we weren't there to sit on our phones.

Me and my partner had the most fantastic time. The lodge was beautifully furnished, well equipped and spacious. The surroundings were picturesque and peaceful. Hot tub was fab. There is nothing negative I can say about it. 11/10.

Lovely spacious lodge. Beds very comfy. Main bedroom floor boards squeaky. En-suite shower water either roasting or freezing.

We had a lovely relaxing break and enjoyed using the hot tub. The setting is very attractive and peaceful. The only negative is the long, narrow and bumpy track that is the only way in and out of the park (whether in a car or on foot).

Absolutely fantastic. 10/10.

My family and myself, had a fantastic mid week stay at Charlesworth Lodges. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The outside setting and lodge, where both relaxing and amazing. We wanted a relaxing break and we were able to do so. I would recommend and go back again:-)

Had a great few days

Excellent stay, just a few minor things that could elevate it. Mirror in single bed bedroom, dishwasher wasn’t working after being told it was fixed, a few wasps flying around. Otherwise the stay was brilliant and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you ?

A very nice and clean lodge that was good value for money. Hot tub was also clean and well kept. The only slight issue was no access to WiFi (couldn't find or connect) but was a minor flaw when everything else was really good. Would return happily.

Been here several times before so that should say something of my opinion of site , ( first time in old barn though ). Ideal spot to get away from it all for a few days , but plenty on door step if required ( Buxton , Manchester).

All round excellent, my only complaint is that there was no where to sit to dry your hair and make up as there’s no dressing tables or mirrors, apart from that excellent.

Beautiful lodge with fantastic amenities located in an idyllic spot, would definitely book again, in fact I have booked for next year already.

This place MADE our trip. Recommend it to anyone.

Just a bit annoyed that when booking I was told a 10.00 am checkout, only on arrival to be told it was now a 9.00 am checkout. Rushed morning!
