Absolutely idyllic spot in which to relax and soak up the peacefulness of the area. So many places within easy reach by walking, a joy not have to use the car for the weekend! The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable, everything you could need had been thought of. Can't wait to return

Super clean lodge with lovely furnishings. Within walking distance of a real nice pub called Ring 'O' Bells, which does excellent bar meals.

Wonderful lodge in a wonderful setting. Peaceful, stunning views, nicely appointed and a great base for exploring the local surroundings which are gorgeous. Excellent value for money!

We came for a 3 night stay. The lodge was lovely and clean. The water pressure is fantastic unlike my home where it feels like a watering can being held over your head. The views are beautiful as can be seen from our picture before the lovely Ciara decided to make an appearance.
The owner, Claire, is a lovely lady and explained that we were on her organic beef farm. Everything Claire could have thought about was available in the lodge.
It's was nice to be away from everything and with there only being another lodge on the site, it didn't feel crowded.
Claire provided a folder and leaflets for any information and advice should it have been needed.
I can imagine this site being lovely in the summer time and would recommend.

If you like the peace and tranquility of open countryside with no facilities on site, Burcott Retreat is a must to visit.

The lodge is located in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. It's very clean and well-maintained with comfortable high-quality furnishings. It's conveniently placed for local attractions but it's also great for just relaxing and enjoying the view.

The owner informed us the previous occupants children had spilt drinks on the settee which was stained. She had tried to clean it before our arrival. It was a shame as the overall standard of The Haven was very good.

A beautiful and clean lodge, with a wonderful scenic view, quiet and very relaxing. The lodge was supplied with all the usual self catering amenities including a very large fridge freezer which was important. It was also very kind of the owner to post back a precious item we left at the lodge.

Lodge is spacious and very well appointed. Great to sit out on the decking and enjoy the views. The bed is very comfortable and there is an iron and ironing board which I don't think is mentioned in the description.

The lodge we stayed in was immaculate, well equipped and spacious. For the warm sunny days there is a large porch area which we used a lot during our stay. Who needs the Med when the sun's out and you have a view like ours! Thanks to the owner who was on hand when we needed her.

Lovely comfortable lodge with wonderful views towards Glastonbury Tor. We really enjoyed our 4 day break here. Very central for visiting the beautiful Somerset countryside.

Lovely modern lodge . Everything you need. Owners even left milk ,cakes cheeses and crackers an d a bottle of wine which was so nice. Beds comfortable and every thing was clean. Only one criticism, the sofas,were quite s stained.
