This impressive and beautiful building has 3 large bedrooms, one en suite and the other 2 share a Jack and Jill clean bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, but it was difficult to open some velux windows. The kitchen is very well stocked, but as we self-cater due to allergies, some of the utensils were too well worn. Take your own tin opener and frying pan. And we did have a friendly local dog wander into the living room. Unfortunate again due to allergies. Overall though, the building, the hot tub and magnificent views made up for everything and we had a fine time.

An amazing stay. The view from the front was breathtaking. The property was well equipped and really comfortable. The only improvement I could suggest would be black out blinds in the triple bedroom and downstairs bedroom. During our stay, the hot tub wasnt working properly. I messaged the owner and it was sorted in less than 12 hours. Amazing.It really was a peaceful and relaxing stay - just what we needed! Would definitely recommend!

We had such a lovely time at this place! The house was spotlessly clean, warm and really well equipped-we honestly lacked nothing. There was loads of space for our two families to relax comfortably and the pool table was a hit with the kids. They were never bored, thanks to all the fun stuff around. Evenings spent in the hot tub were just perfect, especially while enjoying our meals with those incredible views. Were definitely planning to come back, it was truly a memorable stay!

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcome from the start. The place itself is beautifully kept, with a cosy kitchen and a comfy bed that made for a great night's sleep. The shower was powerful and the heating kept us warm throughout. Parking right next to the cottage was a real bonus and we enjoyed walking to Thaxted and exploring the nearby village. Would definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay; the place was lovely, spotless and super comfortable. Everything seemed to be thought of, from the well-kept grounds to the outdoor BBQ and seating areas. The hot tub was a real highlight! The only downside was not having WiFi and we couldnt quite figure out how to access it. Still, wed definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage nestled in such a lovely area. The hot tub and pool table kept us entertained and the beds were super comfy. The garden was a bonus. Only minor issues with the bathrooms, as they could've been cleaner, especially the bins and toilets. Also, not a fan of the visiting dogs roaming around, but overall, it was a great getaway!

We had a really lovely stay at this beautiful house surrounded by stunning scenery. The peaceful atmosphere made for a perfectly relaxing getaway. However, there were a few things that couldve been better. The hot tub was way too hot for our little ones, even without bubbles - definitely not toddler friendly. The welcome book mentioned how to adjust the temperature, but it didnt match our hot tub model, so we missed out on that. Also, it said to contact Sioned for WiFi info and other questions, but we couldnt find any contact details, which was a bit frustrating. We were also a tad disappointed that there was no cake in the welcome pack, just a couple of biscuits instead. The mornings were quite bright upstairs on the balcony, so if youre after a lie-in, bring an eye mask because the light coming through the big front window is pretty intense. The cot provided was quite small and missing a mattress, so only suitable for babies under one. The highchair was a bit basic - just a wooden one - and not really suitable for our 2-year-old or 7-month-old. Still, none of these issues spoiled our holiday; we really enjoyed the stunning views and had a lovely time overall. Were already looking forward to coming back next year!

We spent a lovely weekend at the cottage celebrating a special birthday, staying for three nights over the bank holiday. The layout was spot on and everything was spotless-really well looked after. The location was perfect, with stunning views and just a quick 5-minute drive into Bala for shops and essentials. We also enjoyed a 20-minute walk to the local pub, which served delicious food. Overall, a brilliant break that everyone enjoyed!

We absolutely loved staying here! The location is stunning and really peaceful, perfect for a relaxing break. The house was super comfy, especially for our little ones (ages 3 and 6). We did have a slight hiccup with the hot tub on our first night because it was cold after a water change, but honestly, it made us feel better knowing it was fresh for us. Great spot for families and couples alike!

We had a lovely stay at Y Beudy, though finding it the first time was a bit tricky, especially in the dark, but eventually we managed. The location is great-close enough to the town centre and only about half an hour to Barmouth, which is perfect for days out. The hot tub was fantastic, with stunning views, although the deck gets quite slippery when wet, so a bit of caution is needed. The only real downside was the mattress; it was quite firm, almost like sleeping on a board, so a bit more cushioning would be nice-though some might prefer a firmer feel. One thing to remember is the hob is induction, so if you're bringing your own pans, double-check they work. Wed definitely return!

Great spot! The facilities are top-notch, though some extra outdoor lighting would be handy for night dips in the hot tub. Apart from that, were already planning to return at the same time!

The cottage was charming and well-kept, with breathtaking views everywhere. However, charging £10 for WiFi for four days felt a bit steep. Still, we loved the peaceful setting and cosy atmosphere overall!

Wonderful cottage & stunning location.
6 adults & two toddlers under 2. I would say that although the children always had full supervision, the cottage isn’t as child friendly as I thought. The doors being the main issue, some of them don’t close properly or come open with the wind. That said, we managed it by moving furniture when needed.
The cottage is huge & has 4 bathrooms. The location is perfect & a short drive to Bala & Barmouth beach.
We would definitely book again. The only thing I think could be improved is the cleaning. I feel like it needs a deep clean. We found a lot of dust & cobwebs & mould in one of the bathrooms. We do appreciate however that the lovely owner, let us check in at 2pm rather than 4 so this may have shortened cleaning time.

Couldn’t have booked better the cottages are amazing and the owners are lovely, would 100% recommend this place. The location is convenient being located near Bala and only an hours drive from most attractions. There’s so much to do that we will have to come back again next year.

Absolutely stunning location for a perfect family get away. The converted barn and hot tub were both so spacious for a larger party. Many wonderful and unforgettable memories made here. Would highly recommend.

Amazing holiday and experience, lovely owners but would recommend placing a outdoor light where the hot tub is as the one that is already there doesnt work and would recommend where to change the hot tub heating and indoor heating as it was abit nippy at night time
