What a lovely site with an excellent range of lodges and good facilities. We didnt play golf but the golf course and driving range seemed popular and looked well maintained

We had such a lovely weekend here! The place was just what we needed and we really enjoyed our stay. The garden was perfect for our dogs and they had a blast with the underfloor heating. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but shes fine now. Definitely planning to come back soon! It was great all round.

Great spot for both pups and humans!

The owners were so friendly and really helpful when the storm knocked out the power. The cottage was spotless, warm and well-equipped. Our dog loved the enclosed garden and we had a great time relaxing in the hot tub!

We really enjoyed the caravan! Plenty of space, lovely clean and great extras like WIFI and Bluetooth speakers. Bedding was included, which was handy.

Had a lovely time at Goddards Mead again! The cottage is perfect - were definitely planning to return soon.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The place was great, just a shame about the sofa bed in the lounge.

We just got back from a lovely week at Goddards Mead. The cottage was spot-on, fully kitted out with everything we needed. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. Despite being on a working farm, it felt like a peaceful retreat. We loved it!

We needed a dog-friendly getaway and it was just what we hoped for. Lovely spacious place, plenty of nearby pubs and eateries and endless fields for walks. Our dog loved every minute and didnt want to leave!

We had a great stay at this charming cottage nestled on a working farm, yet it felt super private. Robert and Sharon were lovely hosts, making us feel very welcome. The place itself is really spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we absolutely loved. The garden was perfect for our dog-completely dog-proof and with nice furniture to relax on. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted's restaurants like The Star and The Maypole are worth checking out. Definitely recommend!

The welcome pack was really handy, packed with all the info and menus, which was a nice touch. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was just the cherry on top. We stayed at a lovely, well-equipped house that kept us really warm during a drizzly December. The bath was fantastic and the shower was really spacious. The location is perfect for dogs that dislike fireworks, being out in the middle of nowhere. The property is beautifully converted and quiet, even though its under a flight path - didnt bother us at all! Thanks a lot!
