When we arrived the shelves were very dusty and this was obvious when coming downstairs although everything else seemed clean it wasnt a great first impression. Also when we first opened up the hot tub it was 41 degrees. There was a sign next to it stating not to go in if it was over 40 degrees so this meant we could not use the hot tub at all for the first of what was only a 3 night stay as it would not cool below this level.

We were not given the ladge we paid for and were expected to make do with a 2 bedroom log cabin for 3 adult couples 2 of which had severe health issues making the accommodation that the park allocated us completely inappropriate for our needs. If we could have managed with a 2 bedded log cabin I would have booked this!!!Very upset with the whole situation

Wouldn't recommend anyone going to this site, main reason is the reception staff

My 11yo boy, my 9yo girl, my wife and I stayed here for 4 nights during Feb Half term 2024, it's a great location 25 mins from York and 45 mins from flamingo land and the east coast. We arrived at the friendly welcoming reception They gave us a map with the barrier code, key code and WiFi password for our lodge. We proceeded to 27 Royal Westmoorland Drive at the back of the site. There had been a lot of local flooding in the area and the site was waterlogged but I don't think that is the norm. The whole site was very well kept. We arrived at a clean and warm lodge the beds made and the normal tea, coffee and biscuits in the kitchen. The owners of the lodge had left a welcome folder with local info in it which was helpful. The two twin rooms in the lodge were very small and had very narrow beds, the lodge only has 1 bathroom(the en suite advertised in the description is only a toilet and sink off the double room). Additionally there were only 4 chairs for the dinner table the other 2 seats being stools, only comfortable seating for 5 in the living room and the hot tub was lovely but again not what I would call suitable for 6 grown adults. The lodge was perfect for the 4 of us and the only reason I mention the above is that it would be quite easy from the description of this lodge to assume it is suitable for 6 adults on a relaxing break away but it isn't. It is ideal for a family of 4 with 2 smaller children.I have stayed in a lot of hot tub lodges and the normal complaints were the same with this one. Decent plastic glasses, please have some larger ones. The last thing you want to do is get back out of the hot tub to refill your drink. Hanging hooks, the lodge is for 6 people so supply at least 6 hooks in a suitable place to hang 6 towels. Good ponts. Smart TV with food WiFi. Flame effect heater with remote. Workable kitchen with good fridge and freezer space. A large gas hob (maybe too big for this lodge and gas on glass is a pain to clean). Iron and ironing board. Warm and cosy with plenty of hot water. Quiet and relaxing area of the site. We ventured out every day and we were out for all meals except breakfast so we didn't get a chance to use the on-site JJ'S but it looked popular. There is a burger king, KFC, garage with shop just a few mins drive away from the site for quick snacks and essentials and an Aldi and Sainsbury's in Pocklington about 8 mins drive away. If you go to Pocklington, I recommend Burnby Hall Gardens. Beautiful to walk round and feed the fish.

It was a nice holiday, the washer broke and there were a few stains on the bed sheets but apart from that it was delightful.

A fantastic beautiful lodge. The little extras of a Christmas tree which was fabulously decorated and a stocking with chocolates in just gave it that extra nice thoughtful touch. The view over the lake was superb with 3 fountains going over the festive period was lovely. The only thing i would recommend is that you take a hairdryer and dressing gown. This might have been my fault for not reading what was supplied though. Overall the cabin was pristine and very comfortable.

Absolutely brilliant stay for Christmas we loved it. Just just found a few places on carpet not as clean as we thought with us having young children apart from that it was beautiful

Turn berry 7 was a very nice lodge that could easily make 5-star ratings were it not for a couple of easily sorted items. It would have been nice if the lodge had been decorated for a Christmas booking, had soft seating indoors for 6, in line with the bed spaces, similarly with crockery, etc for 6. Leaving the outdoor furniture cushions unprotected made them unusable in between the showers, which was a shame. That said, it was warm, comfortable, good tech and white goods and we would happily stay again.

This accommodation looks absolutely nothing like the pictures - much smaller and not as nice.We also had dirty bedding and dirty towels and when we flagged this to reception we didnt even receive an apology

Lodge was lovely. Couple of issues 1 being no mirrors had been put up in rooms. Had to ask for hot tub to be cleaned one of the days. Tv in main living room kept switching itself off.
