Aberdwylan Holiday Park - Reviews

Really enjoyed our stay, the place had everything needed.

We spent a week here from July 15th to 22nd with our two mini daschunds and they absolutely loved it! They made loads of new friends in the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is really lovely and the hot tub was a real treat - especially during the hot weather, it was perfect once cooled down. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming; it was nice to see their horses being taken out to the fields each day. Being so close to Stansteds flight path was actually pretty interesting, watching the planes come in. Wed definitely recommend it!

We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and honestly, it was lovely. The cottage has everything you could need and despite being on a working farm, it felt super peaceful. The hosts were really friendly too. Definitely recommend!

This place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a real highlight and the peaceful atmosphere made all the difference. The hosts were lovely too. Definitely recommend if you're after some quiet time. We loved it!

We had such a lovely weekend stay here! The place was perfect for what we needed and were already planning to come back. Our dogs really enjoyed the underfloor heating and the garden; Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it - the vet said its from all the excitement! Happy pups, happy us!

Really loved the caravan, but the doors didnt fit quite right, which was a bit frustrating.

We had a really lovely time staying here! Sharon and Robert were such welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home from the start. The place was spotless, comfy and perfect for our dog Archie - he loved the secure space. The location was spot on, with loads of great walks nearby and charming villages like Thaxted to explore. Honestly, we left feeling totally recharged and relaxed - a fab getaway!

We had such a lovely quiet weekend here, perfect for our anniversary and would definitely recommend it!

We loved staying here! The cottage was adorable and peaceful, perfect for escaping the busy city. The hot tub was a real treat. Owners were friendly but not overbearing.

We needed a relaxing break with the dog and this place delivered! The accommodation was lovely, plus there are loads of fields and off-road walks nearby. Pubs and eateries within walking distance too. We didnt want to leave!

Really enjoyed the stay, lovely views and perfect amenities.

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm, yet it feels really private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely and friendly. The place is surprisingly spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bed was super comfy, which was a bonus. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and nicely furnished. There are loads of walks nearby and Thaxteds restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!

Really enjoyed our stay, thanks so much!

Really enjoyed our time here. Everything was spotless and the hot tub was such a treat! Lovely stay!

We recently spent four lovely nights at this cottage and honestly, it was brilliant. The owners are really friendly but not clingy, just there if you need them. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around safely. The place had everything we could ask for, including a great hot tub! We even used the BBQ one evening. Definitely planning to come back and already recommended it to friends. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was spotlessly maintained and had everything we needed. There are loads of dog walks right outside, which was perfect for our pups. The host was super friendly and quick to respond and meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real treat. Definitely coming back, great value and highly recommended!
