Quiet site for an ideal get away. Some doors did mot shut so had to be wedged to stop banging during the night. Fishing lakes and insight cafe, didn't use either due to weather. Steam railway runs down the side of site and adds a novel interest throughout your stay. No contact with staff due to no booking in requirements and keys at lodge accessible via key safe. 9am check out which seems early and you have to put towels, tea towles and bedding into 3 different coloured bags? Security barrier controlled by car registration but was always up and supermarkets do deliver to lodges. Tesco, Allington and Lidl just a mile up the road. Easy acces to major roads and local amenities.

Lodge is probably one of the older ones however it was adequate and comfortable. Added bonus of washing machine which was useful A welcome pack, with starter for washing up, plus soaps and towels etc Carpet was a little worn in places ie near the patio doors but doesnt change enjoyment of the park

Very clean accommodation and the site was amazing and well looked after. 3 of the large supermarkets within 5 minute drive down the road. Definitely go there again.

The only criticism I have that there was no anti slip mat in the bath for when you had a shower

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it was fantastic. So cosy and beautifully decorated, we really felt at home. The little extras were a lovely touch. Only downside is the price hike during school holidays, which makes it a bit tricky to visit more often!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The lodge was spot-on for two couples, super cosy and well-equipped. The hot tub was definitely a highlight after a long day fishing. Loved it!

We managed to snag a pretty good deal since our trip was during term time and lets just say, prices skyrocket during school holidays! The place was spotlessly clean and had enough space for the three of us, but I wouldnt go for more folks because theres just one bathroom, which could get a bit tricky. The hot tub was a bit of a mixed bag - on our first day, it was lovely and bubbly, but after that, we only managed to get gentle waves instead of the jets full power, which was a tad disappointing. Theres a handy supermarket nearby that stocks everything you could need, so no worries on that front. We used the cottage as a base for some fun trips - Roar Adventure Park is a must and we also visited a local petting farm, so theres plenty to keep you busy. Oh and there's a cracking Indian restaurant just a quarter of an hours walk away - perfect for a takeaway or a sit-down meal. We stayed from Monday to Friday, but technically it was Tuesday to Thursday because check-in isnt until 5 pm and you need to leave by 9 am on the last day, which felt a bit early. Also, they ask you to put sheets and towels in colour-coded bags on departure - I get its a good idea during the pandemic, but an extra hour or two on the last day wouldve been nice to gather everything and leave the place tidy. All in all, a decent stay!

Overall, we had a lovely stay, but the main room mattress was a bit too firm for us - not very comfy. The mirror light in the en suite wasnt working, which was a minor thing, but hopefully itll be sorted soon. Still, a great lodge!

The mattress in the main room was very uncomfortable. The light over the mirror in the en suite didnt work (this is just a small thing, but hopefully will now be fixed for the next people). Apart from that it was a lovely lodge.

We stayed at Meadow View Cottage for a week and honestly, it was quite a nice stay. The place has a lovely layout and the garden with the hot tub is a real bonus. The cottage is well kitted out with essentials like a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, which made things easy. The location is perfect if youre after peace and quiet, with shops just a short drive away. That said, there are a few small tweaks that could really improve things. Mirrors are limited-only one in each bathroom-which makes using a hairdryer a bit of a faff. A full-length mirror would be a great addition. Also, some lamps in the lounge wouldnt go amiss, especially when it gets darker, to soften the harsh lighting. We were a bit surprised there wasnt a hoover, especially since we brought along two dogs. It wouldve been handy to have the option to tidy up during the week. The sofas in the lounge are a bit uncomfortable, which is a shame because everything else feels quite high-end. Overall, it was a peaceful week and with a few small updates, this place could be even better. Still, we had a lovely time!

Despite the gloomy weather, we really enjoyed our time here. The cottage was charming and had everything we needed, especially a well-stocked kitchen. The only minor hiccup was Netflix not loading, but it didnt spoil the trip. Wed definitely return!

The place was a bit pricey, even with the discount for the building works, but it was still quite nice. Not much to do, but really relaxing overall.

We stayed at this lovely lodge recently and were really impressed with how smooth the contactless check-in was. The place was spotless and really well kept. Only thing is, we thought the bedding for the sofa bed should have been included in the price since we needed it for extra guests. Also, having two toilet rolls in each bathroom wouldve been handy. Wi-Fi was a bit of a let-down - £25 for that seems steep when it could be included. Overall, a fantastic site and wed happily return!

We had a really lovely stay at the park. The lodges are spotless and nicely furnished, which made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a real highlight - it was checked twice daily by staff, so we felt totally safe using it. The peaceful atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing break. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the check-in time - arriving after 5 pm feels a bit late, especially since the first day is almost gone by then. Also, having to leave by 9 am on departure day is a bit tight. Overall though, we liked it, but that late check-in might stop us from returning.

We stayed at Priors Field recently and while the area is lovely, its clear theres still some work to be done. Dont let that put you off though - its not as bad as people say and hopefully itll be finished soon. Big thanks to the Yaxham team for keeping us updated with emails and calls. Sorry we had to leave early!

We stayed at this lodge recently and honestly, it was a lot better than what we expected. The place looked fresh and clean and it seemed like they'd done some updates. The smell was fresh too, which is always a plus. For just the two of us and our dog, it was comfortable enough. The only downsides were the sofas-really not comfy at all-and the decking that needed a proper clean. Also, the kitchen tap kept dripping and despite telling them twice, no one fixed it. Still, overall, we left happy with the stay.

Considering we had a pet lodge, and normally they are the worst, we was pleasantly pleased with this lodge. Smelt clean, was clean, think it's had a bit of a refurb, we had no issues, for the 2 of us and 1 dog was OK. But the sofas are hideously uncomfortable sorry to say, the decking needed a good clean and the kitchen tap constantly dripping, told them twice, but no one came to sort it.. but overall we were happy with the lodge.
