Honestly, these lodges are something special. Weve stayed in quite a few, but this one tops the lot. The place was spotless and felt so homely, with little touches like coffee and tea canisters, plus biscuits and milk ready for us. The hot tub was such a treat after a day out. And the pillows? Seriously comfy-best Ive ever slept on! Plenty of towels and the laundry stuff was handy too. Were already planning our next visit, cant wait to come back!

Our stay at Thirlestane Lodges was honestly fantastic. We chose to visit between Christmas and New Year and from the moment we arrived, it felt special. There was a lovely surprise waiting for us - a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates on the kitchen island, which made us smile. The lodge itself is beautifully decorated and the fireplace kept us cosy during the snowy days. We took a day trip to Edinburgh, which is only about 45 minutes away and had a great time exploring. The weather was a bit unpredictable and our little pug wasnt keen on walking in the cold, but we're already planning to return in the summer when everythings a bit brighter. The hot tub was definitely a highlight! The last night, we watched the incredible starry sky - honestly, it was breathtaking. I really cant find a fault with the place; everything was perfect, from the comfy beds to the gorgeous surroundings. Were already looking forward to coming back for our first wedding anniversary. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely lodge. Its spotless and has all the essentials for a chilled holiday. The outdoor decking area is fantastic, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the private hot tub. The welcome pack was a nice touch, although the road lighting wasnt great, so dont forget a torch if youre out late. Wed definitely come back!
