Overall a nice relaxing stay, staff were awesome, can't fault it, very good for the price paid, room was clean, hot tub was warm and ready to go in, checked in no problem

Lovely clean van with all you need however we found the beds too hard to get a good nights sleep so I wouldnt book this type (Lux Bed) again but would def return to the site again.

Amazing - Shepherds Hut has everyting - ideal for just a small group with comfortable surroundings and modern facilities, just right for that short break.

Very clean and comfortable caravan. Our veranda had a lovely view of the green and the surrounding hills. Kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were supplied with hand wash and toilet paper.

The caravan itself was spotless. It had everything we needed to cook meals. Spare blankets and radiators in each room so we were able to keep it nice and warm for the kids.

Lovely surprise with the welcome pack for kids. Also nice to have towels supplied.

Previously stayed in the exclusive accommodation but was by no means disappointed with the premium. Spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard. Beds comfortable and hot powerful showers. Heating worked well and warmed up quickly. Had everything required for our stay.Veranda and outdoor furniture clean and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay in the shepherds hut. The beds were super comfy and it had all the amenities we could ask for. The shower was powerful and really hit the spot after a long day. The hot tub was definitely the highlight - perfect for relaxing in the evening. Only thing missing was a tiny ironing board, but no biggie!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel really welcome and were super helpful, even when I had a bit of a strange request. The grounds are lovely and well looked after and the shop had everything we needed. Our cabin was just perfect - super cosy and fully equipped, so we didnt mind a rainy day at all. Honestly, wed definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break!

From the beginning of our holiday the staff were so friendly and willing to help with a very odd request I had. The grounds were very well kept and the shop itself had the essentials we needed. The accommodation we stayed in was perfect. Very cosy and had all the equipment we needed. We didnt feel like we couldnt stay in on a rainy day it was that cosy. Would highly recommend.

Lovely location, led to a very relaxed family break. There needs some improvements in the lodge. The beds are not acceptable, the mattresses were very uncomfortable and the beds rickety, this meant that we had to sleep separately. Cleanliness was acceptable, although the carpet is in need of a thorough clean.The site itself is nice and the staff very friendly, due to the time of year, it was lovely and quiet.

We stayed here for the first time in September and honestly, it was pretty lovely. We booked a standard pet-friendly caravan, though I must say, its quite on the cosy side - definitely better suited if youre only there for a short stay or dont mind a bit of compactness. We had a little hiccup early on with the caravan, but the staff at reception were fantastic - super helpful and quick to sort things out. We were moved to a new place within half an hour, so no real hassle there. The site itself has a peaceful vibe, perfect for unwinding and we really enjoyed the woodland walk to the beach - about 15 minutes each way, which was just right. We also appreciated that the small shop stocked emergency supplies, in case you forget something at the supermarket. The laundrette is a bit pricey, but handy if youre in a pinch. We checked out some of the other caravan options and have already booked for 2025 - the luxury and premium ones look great and will be better for us, especially with the dogs and needing more space. The standard pet-friendly was a bit tight, but manageable. The only downside was the cleaning - some bits could be a lot cleaner, with stains and build-up in places, though I always bring wipes with me. The carpets could do with a clean too. I dropped my towel on the bedroom floor and found it covered in what I think was leftover makeup from a previous guest. But overall, we loved it and are really looking forward to next year!

The staff were very helpful and efficient in resolving the situation and we were moved within half an hour to new accommodation.The site itself is so lovely, quiet and a great place to unwind. The laundrette is a expensive but handy if youre desperate.We had a look around a few of the other types of caravans and booked for 2025. The luxury and premium caravans are lovely and will suit us better having dogs and needing more space. The standard pet friendly is very compact!The cleaning could be a bit better as there were build ups in places and swipes of staining here and there but I always bring cleaning wipes on holiday with me for things like that. The carpets could definitely do with a clean too. I accidentally dropped my towel on the bedroom floor and when I picked it up it was covered in a previous guests makeup (which I assume had broken up). Overall we loved it and have rebooked. We are excited for next year and the relaxation to come.

The place was big and comfy, perfect for a quick trip. We did get some flies, but it didn't ruin our weekend at all!

We stayed in a shepherds hut recently and overall, it was quite a pleasant experience. The place was spotless and looked really nice, which we appreciated. The staff on arrival were friendly and welcoming, though we didnt see much of them after that. The weather was pretty wild during our stay, with two windy nights that made the hut sway a bit - it was a bit unnerving! It wouldve been nice if someone had checked in to see if we needed anything or offered to help stabilise things, like taking down the parasol that contributed to the sway. Still, we didnt bother asking, so no big deal. We did leave feeling a little more exhausted than when we arrived, but honestly, the beautiful site and great location more than made up for it. Definitely worth a visit!
