Good afternoon, hope you are well. Myself and my fiance are currently staying with yourselves. On arrivals the lodge wasnt the cleanest and it had crumbs on the living room coffee table. There are no dishwasher tablets or bin liners etc to put rubbish in.The hot tub had sand and dirt in and a skum around the top layer. We were hoping it would be cleaned on the second day, when it hadnt and now its looking worse and we cannot let our children in due to it looking green we decided to call up. The lady who answered was very abrupt and told me that we are close to the sea and so to expect sand.Whilst I can appreciate flies and the odd bit of sand, finding dirt and nails in it, is not acceptable at all.We put our electric vehicle on charge and the lady let herself on to our balcony to let us know we needed to unplug it and they would message us with a time when there was a slot free, we still havent heard from them.On arrival we also had to empty the dishwasher in order to be able to have any pots such as cups, glasses and cutlery. I would like all of this to be addressed please as this was meant to be for a special occasion and we are very disappointed with the service so far.Thank you for your time.

Lovely quiet site brand new lodge however our lodge was constantly full of flies it was very off putting. When sleeping at night they where in the bedroom ,got up to use the toilet in the morning there must have been 20 flies in there even though the night before we thought we had got rid of them all .Also the cleaning looked like a few corners had been missed ,windows ,dusty ledges smelly mop in cupboard etc the main facilities was nice and clean. It is a shame because they would probably but me off returning

Everything thing was 10/10. The lodge is very clean annd sparkling.Family of 5 anbd there was excess storage spaces to keep things . Fab!The location of the lodge was a 10/10 as it overlooks the trees giving it privacy and free from traffic from cars and pedestrian walking. The kids enjoyed the hottub which was big and accommodated them and was checked every day by the maintenance guy. The bubbling part was 10/10 for them Infact will rate it 5Stars Unfortunately the mattress in the 2nd bedroom or main bedroom wasnt comfy atall. Gave me body aches for the 1st 2 nights and had to sleep in the kids room for the rest of the 5nights.

We stayed here for a family holiday, the location is stunning and very quiet. The lodges are kept to an impressive condition. Cannot fault them at all. The hot tub and outside area is beautiful! The front reception staff were very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for us! We all had such a fabulous time and will be booking another holiday here soon! Thanks for having us

The lodge was beautiful, very well equipped, modern and comfortable. The en suites are a bit tight but you get plenty of room in the rooms. We had absolutely no WiFi all weekend which also meant the tv didnt seem to work without buffering however we were only the second guests on site so we accept teething problems.

We stayed at Pine 12 (no lake view): 2 adults and 4 children aged 10-20yrs. Lodge was clean and functional with what looked to be a new kitchen. However for the 6 of us it was a tight squeeze - the twin rooms for the kids were the smallest we have experienced after staying in numerous lodges and the lounge dining was not ideal as only 4 seater table with 2 stools at breakfast bar so we could not have a meal sat together. Also the lounge seating was insufficient with a 2 seater sofa and an armchair and a footstool that changed into a very small coffee table. Was disappointed as with kids of an older age we go for these getaways to have some time together, play board games, cards etc and try get some gadget free time, this time round it was not possible as kids could not lounge anywhere and not proper space/table to play. Also only one shower which was again a struggle for 6, the en-suite was only a sink/toilet. Hot tub was good but again on the small side, normally get in together but this was really for 4. No welcome pack or robes or smaller towels and the towels were washed but stained. Have stayed at this site before at the foxglove lodge which was perfect for 6 (so not sure why this was priced the same as it was definitely not of the same standard- missed out on booking the foxglove as it was last minute but both were priced the same when I checked). They have expanded with the number of lodges increased and increasing. Please note there is an electric charger point (only one) in the car park which was mostly occupied by site van.

As already stated lacking in decor and was quite basic inside. Cleaning needs more attention. Plenty of space for 3 teenagers and 2 adults. Hor tub very good.

Everything you need and very clean. I would recommend taking a fan as it can get warm inside. Outdoor area not all that private if your neighbours are out, However nobody can see you when you're in the hot tub :)

Absolutely disgusting stay with these. Please avoid at all costs. Ignoring our emails now after sending proof of how bad the state of the lodge was. Half eaten hamburger on the floor which was mouldy and my 1 year old daughter put near her mouth luckily I caught it just in time. Hot tub was a state, dirt everywhere- broken cutlery, smashed glasses and used pots and pans with food on.

We had an amazing weekend here! The place was just what we needed and were already planning to return. Our dogs absolutely adored the underfloor heating and playing in the garden - Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it! Honestly, happy pups, happy us. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cosy getaway with their furry friends!

We stayed at this charming cottage and loved the peace and quiet, except for the occasional night-time plane noise from Stanstead. The hot tub was a real highlight!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely spot! The location is gorgeous and very private, perfect for a relaxing break. The owners are super friendly and always ready to help without intruding, which we appreciated. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling-its a lovely touch. A small thing to keep in mind is the noise from planes overhead since its right under Stansteds flight path. It wasnt a big deal for us once we got used to it, but might bother some who are noise-sensitive. Overall, a great escape!
