Herons Mead Lodges

The accommodation and facilities were all of an exceptional standard. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and I will be returning.

Lovely stay here. Views and surroundings were very tranquil. Unfortunately the hot tub wasnt ready until the next morning even though they said 8pm so a whole evening of not being able to use the tub which is a shame when your only there for a short amount of time. The lodge is well equipped with everything and is home from home - I would recommend a bigger frying pan as the one we had was tiny! The small touches and welcome pack were lovely. I love that the accommodation is dog friendly and we were made to feel very welcome, just a few teething issues like a broken glass being left in the cupboard, but nothing that would ruin our stay! I would recommend eating in the restaurant over getting a take away and taking it back to the lodge - the chef was busy visibly stressed and unfortunately our food was cold, but I can see how it has good reviews. Overall we had a lovely stay thank you and we would come back in the future. Skegness front is lovely out of season and great to explore with dogs being allowed on the beach at this time of year. Beautiful location, quiet and the lodge was nicely decorated.

We were the very first paying guests in our newly-built lodge! So suffice to say it was pristine, and decked out with plenty of luxuries including a lovely little welcome pack and gorgeous toiletries. The proprietors checked in with us on our first morning to ensure everything was okay and even dropped in some slices of cake which was a pleasant treat. The hot tub was glorious, steaming hot, nice and private, with lovely views over open countryside. The perfect little retreat to slip away from life's stresses.

Beautiful and comfortable lodge set in a quiet and relaxing park. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend and looking to return next year.

Excellent all around. Can't wait to go back again. The lodges are all finished to a high standard and really comfortable. Relaxing in the hot tub what more do you need?

The Lodge was so clean and all fitted with high quality fittings. The bed was a tiny bit uncomfortable but i think everyone is just used to their own bed :-) a larger bin would have been good but that's so minor its really irrelevant :-)

Absolutely marvellous

The lodge was excellent. It was spotlessly clean. All of facilities were well maintained. I particularly liked the coffee machine. The only downside was there were no steps to get into the hot tub, so my wife was unable to access it.

We had the best weekend at Bloom Lodge, relaxing peaceful and perfect country views from the hot tub. The weather wasnt great but that didnt spoil it because the lodge was so lovely we didnt mind staying in

lovely cosy modern well equipped Lodge with great countryside views. lodge and hot tub not overlooked by anyone. hot tub sunk into covered decking so can be used in all conditions. Would definitely stay again

We had an absolutely fantastic time here. Very relaxing and peaceful and the hot tub was a wonderful addition! The location was perfect for day trips to the local beaches but being away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome and the lodge was exceptionally clean! We cannot wait to come back again with our dog! Thank you for a great stay.

Absolutely loved this place so quiet and peaceful and the lodges are gorgeous and private with lovely homely touches. The hide cafe food was amazing couldnt recommend enough. Thank you :)

Lovely lodge suitable for 2 people. Has everything you need for a short break. Lovely comfy bed, spacious bathroom. Great hot tub. Kitchen utensils crockery etc high end brands

High quality fixtures and fittings in a good sized lodge for 2 people.
Quiet and peaceful location with its own fishing lakes.

We had the best time their, well worth the money, beautiful lodge all the little extras really made it special and the hot tub was lovely. Definitely will be booking again.

A gorgeous log cabin.

We stayed here for our staycation honeymoon. What a beautiful place. The lodges are amazing, beautiful decoration and the hot tub is fantastic. The staff are so friendly especially Sam and Jamie who work in the hide cafe. Food is amazing. We will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous stay at Herons Mead. Great hot tub in a quiet location overlooking fields. Loved the little touches like Prosecco on arrival, slippers, throws and dressing gowns. The staff were lovely and we had a great breakfast in the cafe on site overlooking one of the fishing lakes. We would definitely visit again if Im the area.

The lodge was perfect for a couple and a dog. Very private and quiet. Was disappointed there was no dad player till we switched the TV on and found it had amazon and Netflix. The hot tub was great and had Bluetooth speakers so we chilled out with a bit of music. Only down side to hot tub was it was sunken so it was a big step down to get in, which isn't ideal for everyone

Bloom Lodge 2 was exceptional in facilities, cleanliness and location.
The hot tub was comfortable and very easy to use with the Bluetooth connection allowing you to play music through the hot tub speaker a good feature

Will definitely be coming back again to this site
