The whole chalet was just Wow. High Quality. The kitchen was small but perfect. Excellent fridge and freezer Two lovely bathrooms. Our double bed was very comfortable. The chalet can sleep a total of 6 Lovely looking wall fireplace. Great to. Though we didnt use much. Overall. Very pleased. 10/10

Lovely lodge which is spacious and has an amazing hot tub! Although, when I moved a bed to look for something it was dirty! There was also a bin in one of the bedrooms that had some hair from previous visitors left in it. I also know I left an iPhone charger in the socket there and no one has phoned to tell me.

Absolutely beautiful- stayed in this lodge twice this year.So spacious and has that home comfort feeling.Few cobwebs in some of the rooms and dusty under the furniture.Fantastic hot tub, and very private.

We stayed at Holmans Wood over the May day BH weekend. Having never stayed there before, we were a bit skeptical about what to expect. We were more than happy with what we walked in to. We booked a superior holiday home and when they say superior, they mean it! It is one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed, the location was fantastic and views were lovely. It wasn't stated on the information, but dishwasher and washer/dryer were also in the accommodation (perfect!). The park is very quiet with Finlake only 10 minutes away for the activities for the children. Also a bonus, local Chinese takeaway (Mei Wah) deliver straight to the park and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning in the future and have recommended to family and friends. We had a lovely stay.

We had such a lovely stay at Goddard's Mead! Rob and Sharon put so much effort into beautifully restoring the historic building and it really shows. They greeted us warmly, along with Bonnie, which made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring Essex, especially if you enjoy wandering through charming villages and discovering their history. Honestly, wed definitely recommend it for a relaxing break. Definitely coming back!

We had a really relaxing stay! The keyless entry was super convenient and the lodge was spotless and smelled lovely when we arrived. Its just a shame there werent dressing gowns for when you get out of the hot tub, but the staff checked it daily, so we knew it was always clean. Definitely planning to return!

We stayed at this charming cottage tucked away on a working farm and it was surprisingly private. Robert and Sharon are lovely hosts, making us feel really welcome. The place itself is super spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave! The garden is ideal for dogs, fully enclosed and beautifully furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed exploring Thaxteds great restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge was spotless and super comfy. The hot tub was amazing, even if the thermostat broke. Staff were friendly and quick to help fix it.
