We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage. Its perfectly tucked away yet still close to shops and local spots. The hot tub was a real highlight and the underfloor heating kept everything super cosy. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome - well be back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was perfect for our weekend trip and we felt right at home. The underfloor heating was a hit with our dogs-they couldnt get enough of it and the garden kept them entertained for ages. Luna even came home with a strained tail from all the wagging! Definitely planning to come back soon!

We had an amazing stay at the cottage! The location was perfect-so peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by stunning farml and. The horses were a lovely sight and the owners were incredibly friendly, making sure we lacked nothing. Definitely a spot we'd recommend for anyone craving a quiet getaway. Loved it!

We had a lovely stay at this charming little cottage. It's surprisingly well equipped - we didn't need to bring anything! The welcome pack was full of useful info, including local menus, which was a nice touch. The enclosed garden kept our dogs safe and they absolutely loved it. The hot tub was the highlight, honestly, so relaxing. Sharon and Rob were quick to reply if we had questions, which made everything smooth. Thanks for the thoughtful extras - well definitely be back for another break!

We had a fantastic time staying here! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home and their warm hospitality was much appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, comfy and perfect for our dog Archie - he loved it! The location was just right, with loads of nice walks and charming villages nearby like Thaxted. Honestly, it was exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. Wed definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The apartments are beautifully furnished and the views are stunning, especially with the hot tubs that are all yours for private use - such a nice touch. The site itself is quite small but offers plenty to do, plus some lovely walks nearby. The bar was only open a few hours, which makes sense given its low season, so no worries there. A couple of things wed suggest: adding a mattress protector for extra comfort and maybe some privacy screening between the hot tubs. We get they want to keep the views open, but a little bamboo fence or foliage could make a big difference when everyones soaking at the same time. Overall, a lovely peaceful spot with just a few tweaks needed!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was super well equipped and kept us really cosy on that rainy December day. The bath was perfect after a long walk and the shower was great too. Being near the flight path didnt bother us at all-honestly, it didnt disturb our sleep. Perfect spot for dogs who hate fireworks, since its so remote. Thanks a lot!

From the moment we arrived, Rob & Sharon made us feel really welcome and Bonnie was lovely too. Theyve done a fantastic job converting this old building while keeping its charm. Goddard's Mead is perfect if you're after a cosy, relaxing stay. The location is great - plenty to explore in Essex, especially Thaxted and the surrounding villages with their rich history and pretty buildings. Wed definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway!

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage! The place is super well-kept and equipped with everything you might need. There are loads of lovely dog walks right outside, which the pups loved. The host was so friendly and responsive - really appreciated the farm visits, especially Penelope the pig! Definitely coming back. Great value and highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay in this charming place, nestled in a really peaceful and private spot. The owners were super friendly and always there if we needed anything, but it still felt quite secluded. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day of cycling - such a treat! The only thing to note is that its directly under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our break at all. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at this lovely cottage, tucked away on a working farm but still feeling very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely and welcoming. The place itself is huge, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and nicely furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and we enjoyed visiting Thaxted; The Star and The Maypole are well worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!
