We really enjoyed our stay at Coldingham Bay Leisure Park. The whole place is kept lovely and tidy and its just so relaxing - exactly what we needed. The caravan was well equipped and those beds were super comfy, especially since its a newer model. The highlight for us was definitely the food from the marquee restaurant - delicious! And the location near Coldingham Bays beach is perfect for a chill day out.

We had a fantastic weekend here, exactly what we needed. The place was perfect for us and our dogs, who especially enjoyed the underfloor heating and the garden. Luna was wagging her tail nonstop! Sadly, she strained it, but the vet said it was from all the excitement. Were definitely coming back soon. Such a great stay!

We stayed at Goddard's Mead recently and found it to be a lovely spot. Rob and Sharon have clearly put a lot of effort into restoring this historic building and it shows. They were incredibly welcoming and Bonnie added a nice touch. The location in Essex is perfect for exploring Thaxted and nearby villages, which are full of interesting history and charming architecture. Definitely worth a visit if you want a peaceful, comfortable break.

We stayed at this cosy little cottage and honestly, it had everything we needed - we didnt have to pack much! The owners, Sharon and Rob, were super quick to reply if we had questions. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch, full of useful info and menus. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was a real treat after long walks. We even appreciated the little extras for us and our pups. All in all, a lovely place for a relaxing break. Thanks so much!

Relaxed holiday with lovely weather, felt secure during our stay. Would recommend.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! The only small issues were the worktop freezer, which had no plug socket nearby, so an extension lead wouldve helped. Also, the picnic table faced the waste area, which wasnt ideal. A bit of fencing or some bushes could make it much nicer. Still, it was a lovely spot and wed definitely return!

We loved the cosy cottage, perfect for a peaceful escape. The hot tub was a real treat, though the planes from Stanstead can be a bit noisy at night! Definitely recommend.

We stayed at this charming cottage recently and honestly, it had everything we could possibly need. The place is so well equipped, we didnt even realise how much was provided until we arrived! The welcome pack was a lovely touch, full of useful info and menus. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and they loved it. The hot tub was a real highlight, so relaxing. We had such a lovely time at this cosy cottage tucked away on a busy farm, but amazingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, were genuinely lovely and welcoming. The place is really spacious, with well-equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities. The bed was super comfy and the garden was perfect for our dog-completely enclosed and nicely furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some great places to eat, like The Star and The Maypole. Really recommend it!

Our weekend stay was just perfect for what we needed. The place had everything we hoped for and we really enjoyed it. The pups were especially happy with the underfloor heating and they had a fantastic time exploring the garden. Luna even came home with a strained tail from all the wagging! Definitely plan to return soon-what a great find!

We had a lovely stay in this peaceful spot, tucked away in a really beautiful and private area. The owners were super friendly and always available if we needed anything, but it still felt secluded. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling - such a nice touch! Just a heads up, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much once we got used to it, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth considering. Overall, a great place to unwind!

We stayed at a lovely, well-equipped house that was perfect for a cosy December break. The place was warm and welcoming, especially with the rain pouring down outside! The bath was just what we needed and the shower was spacious. Being on a flight path didnt bother us at all and its ideal for dogs not keen on fireworks since its so secluded. Thanks a lot!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage on a working farm, but it feels really private. Robert and Sharon are such lovely hosts; they made us feel right at home. The place is super spacious, with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was so comfy, we slept like logs! The gardens perfect for dogs-completely secluded and well-furnished. There are plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted's restaurants, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth a visit. Wed definitely recommend it!
