We had a lovely stay! The owners were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to help us. The cottages charm really comes through, especially with its cosy vibe and clean, well-heated rooms. The shower was powerful, which was a nice surprise and parking right outside was super handy. We enjoyed peaceful walks across the fields to Thaxted, with its beautiful half-timbered houses and windmill. Overall, a really charming place we'd happily return to!

We stayed at this lovely place during a rainy December and it was perfect for us. The house is super well equipped and kept us warm, which was a relief. The bath was just what we needed after a long day and the shower was great too. Being on a flight path didn't bother us at all and it's perfect if you have dogs that dislike fireworks. Overall, a beautiful spot in the middle of nowhere. Thanks so much!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. Its set on a working farm but feels surprisingly private - perfect for a peaceful getaway. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely and make you feel welcome. The place is really spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The garden's perfect for dogs, totally secluded and with nice furniture. Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxteds got some great restaurants, especially The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!

We had a fantastic weekend at this place! Everything was just right for us and the pups loved it. The underfloor heating was a hit, especially for the dogs, who had a blast in the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but all's well! Well definitely be coming back soon. Great spot!

We spent a week here in July with our two tiny dachshunds and honestly, they had a blast. The village of Thaxted is so charming and the cottage itself feels really cosy. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, especially since it was scorching outside - cooling off in the water was just perfect. The hosts are lovely, very friendly and welcoming and it was nice to see their dogs being taken out to the fields daily. Being near the Stansted flight path was actually quite fun, watching the planes come in. Wed happily come back!
