A few very minor damage to furniture ie freezer draws cracked and broken. Crack in sink in one of bathroom and dent in kitchen cupboard door. Other than that a fantastic stay with great facilities. Very clean hot tub and cabin. Will definitely be returning

Lovely little trip away! The only issues were the quality of the mattress was poor- there was a spring sticking out which was uncomfortable and the sofa provided was very small, but other than these two small issues it was great!

Lovely lodge

We upgraded to the birch (pet) lodge . It was a present for my husband for his 40th birthday. The upgrade was a big mistake! The lodge looked lovely but all we could smell was sewage from the down stairs toilet. And unfortunately it was raining a lot which is out of the holidays parks control but it meant we had to stay in the lodge a lot of our stay with the fowl smell. We did report this and a man came out many hours after we contacted them. And one the nights we could smell it upstairs in our room. Due to this we went home a night early. We spoke to someone about this and they advised a manager will contact us and Ive tried calling many times with no one answered the calls and left voice mails each time. I wanted to discuss before putting a review. This did put a massive dampener on our holiday. We rarely go to Yorkshire as we are from the south coast and its a very long drive. Would like to discuss this further. I will say the single bed were soooo comfortable more then the double bed but it was still good for a lodge. Loved that it has to bathrooms and a washing machine and dishwasher. The cleaning pack was fab and cute.

Lovely cabins with plenty of space. Hot tubs are wonderful. Accommodation very clean and comfortable.

Didn't end up in the above lodge, was moved to a Kinder Spa (Pet).Lovely lodge, great kids room. Wanted for nothing.

The lodges were nice once but are showing signs of age. Stains, scratches and cracks.The lodges are very dark inside. Winter, spring and autumn will be challenging due to the low light conditions.The hot tubs are wide open to anyone walking past. If you want to sit there and just enjoy quiet time, all your neighbours and passing dog walkers can clearly see you.Not everything is clean when you arrive. Cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils all need to be disinfected before use. Same for the fridge and work surfaces. DO NOT PREP OR EAT ANY FOOD UNTIL YOU HAVE DISINFECTED EVERYTHING. We found the previous occupants socks in the sofa. Other reviewers have found worse.

The cabin itself was lovely, clean and comfortable. Could do with adding scissors in the draw and a dustpan and brush. Also a cover over the hot tub

The building is beautiful, we onky used the pool but it's was great. Nice clean modern changing rooms and the pool although small it was lovely to do a few lengths in the mornings, and this is free if you are staying in a lodge.The staff who work in there are great. Really polite and helpful.

Unfortunately it seems that there was issues with drainage or sewerage as there was an awful smell coming from the inside of the lodge. the lodge itself was very clean. the only thing i noticed with provisions is no soap was provided for hand washing.

Little things like no Internet no TV in bedroom goes along way the radiators needed bleeding so weren't working

Comfy bed, phone signal was poor and no wi-fi in lodge which was very frustrating

Every thing was fine in the lodge was a bit disappointed with the hot tub as the jets weren't functioning at full strength and not producing any bubbles. The older guy that came to check was very pleasant and helpful. But to no avail the hot tub remained the same reported it again and the young guy that came out the next time was rude and told us you don't get bubbles it's a hot tub not a jacuzzi was a bit offhand . I have stayed at this site 3 times now and couple of other sites and never had a problem

Room smelly would not waste no more on this again . Horrible no heating properly the pool in facilities was freezing my little boy was shivering .

On the photos of the Spindle pet accommodation it shows a view of the lake and this wasn't the case. Another negative was the lack of privacy on the decking and hot tub. The layout of the park made you feel like you were very overlooked. I usually stay with hoseasons and this was by far my least favourite site.

We had a lovely stay in the lodge. I do have to express how horrific the road into the park is though, I damaged my car on the pot holes which isnt acceptable really. No lights to illuminate the mine field of pot holes either. There was plenty of gravelled areas so I dont see why the pot holes couldnt be at least filled with gravel to prevent people damaging their vehicles. There was plenty activities for the kids to do, however some were definitely overpriced like the slime workshop. My daughter loved the on site swimming pool and she had a great time in the hot tub we had at our lodge. There was no plug for our sink in the kitchen so couldnt wash up, had to buy dishwasher tablets as none are supplied. The lodge was clean however the cleaning staff arent cleaning above head height at all, tops of the wardrobes were extremely dusty and the amount of cobwebs all over the roof in just about every room was quiet bad, we thought aragog was going to appear haha.

The best lodge we've stayed in on this site after 4 visits and another one booked. It had everything we needed. The hottub lost a little water but it soon got filled back up for us.

The sofa was not the normal standard like sitting on a plank of wood.. and the cabin was a bit grubby compared to previous visits.. I was a bit disapointed this visit .. need to be able to turn the hot tub up.. it was only warm .. and I like it warmer

The lodge and facilities were just as expected and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Will definitely come back in the future.

We had a really lovely holiday and would definitely return and recommend to other people. The only thing I would say is for the price you pay a few more basic items could be added to the cabin like washing up liquid, toilet bleach, anti bac spray more toilet roll and a small milk maybe? We don’t drive and had to order the other items in, but if I would have known I would have bought them with me. Also if there was an option of having the towels changed once during the week that would have been really good. However it’s a fab place to stay and we all had a really great time so thanks very much. The staff were friendly helpful and professional at all times and facilities were great!

What a beautiful location. The lodge was brand new and so comfortable and clean. Everything we needed apart from a long handled brush. If you want to keep the lodges in this top top condition you need to help the guests look after them too. It’s hard to sweep a floor with a dust pan and brush! The facilities were good especially the pool being free. Water activities need more equipment though. And ohhh the hot tub how fabulous was that! It made our holiday. All in all fantastic and I will definitely be coming back soon.

Fabulous holiday, loved the lodge, lovely and modern. Only issue was the hottub got a little dirty after on the third day, we told a member of staff but wasn't rectified for us. Mentioned it was because of the extreme heat and it was a brand new hottub so hopefully just a one off. Restaurant was gorgeous and the sports bar is a nice touch. Overall we would return in the future.

Lovely quiet site with good facilities and great staff and services.

We stayed in the dog friendly Aspen Lodge, which had a gated decking area which was great for the dog to have freedom, lodge was very spacious & clean & everything provided, hot tub was a bonus, location is amazing & fishing on site, very friendly staff, highly recommend & will definitely return.

Thoroughly recommend this park, a nice size, clean and tidy. Very handy having a the restaurant and sports bar located next door. Swimming pool, soft play, cafe and mini shop all very useful.

Lovely park with swimming and spa facilities..3rd time at this lodge park and would go again.
