We were really pleased with how easy it was to find a high-standard place that welcomed pets. The staff were so helpful and attentive and the facilities matched the description perfectly. The surroundings were lovely too. Honestly, we couldnt fault it at all!

Honestly, were so glad we chose to stay here. The views are absolutely stunning and the lodge itself had everything we needed - it really felt like a home away from home. We took a lovely walk through the nearby fields and parks into Lewes, which was perfect for a bit of exploring. The owners were super helpful, even sending us maps for other local walks, which was a lovely touch. We mostly just relaxed and soaked up the scenery and it made our trip really special. Definitely recommend if youre after a peaceful getaway with great views!

The lodge was pretty lovely, even if the summer rates felt a bit steep last minute. Only thing was the limited TV channels, but it didnt ruin our stay at all.

We had a lovely stay and Cathy really made us feel welcome with her friendly attitude. She even sorted out the bed situation quickly, which was great. The little touches like the automatic hand sanitizer on entry really stood out - such a nice touch! The only tiny hiccup was the hot tub lid shelf not quite lining up, but it was no big deal. Wed definitely come back and recommend it to others!

We had such a great time from the moment we arrived. Finding the place was a breeze and the check-in was super flexible, which was really helpful. Lewes is gorgeous and just a short walk away. The lodge felt private, so we could relax and enjoy each other without any interruptions. Truly perfect for some needed downtime and romance!

The lodge was spotless and had stunning views, which we really enjoyed. Sadly, we couldnt stay again because the TV was way too high for anyone wearing varifocal glasses. Such a shame!

Me, my partner and our dog came here for a little break last week and we couldn’t fault it. The lodges are so clean, have everything you could need and are gorgeous! The views are amazing, we done some lovely walks too. We were super happy with our stay, staff were very friendly and welcoming. We all had the holiday blues when we got home, including the dog. It was such a peaceful stay, we can’t wait to come back!

Great caring staff, clean and comfortable lodge with everything we needed including towels and robes for hot tub use. Beautiful peaceful location within 30 -45 minutes lovely walk to Lewes centre. Lots of different walks and footpaths to explore. Patio with hot tub. Stars to look at at night. We had a fantastic holiday, loved every minute. Thanks to the team at Swanborough!

The lodge was outstanding, so relaxing. Nearly everything you need was considered. The cakes and extras were great

Beautiful tranquil location. The lodge (8) was in a great location overlooking the lake. Love that there is so much space and only 12 lodges on site. Friendly staff who called to check we'd settled in OK, and wonderful idea to have a treat box in fridge waiting for us. Thank you for a wonderful break.

Excellent Lodge in a peaceful tranquil setting, nice easy walk across the fields to Lewes which is a lovely village. Plenty of restaurants, cafés and pubs, along with independent shops etc…
Great base to explore East Sussex.

A car charging point would be an asset

We would highly recommend Swanborough lakes, we normally don't spend much time in our accommodation but the lodge is so lovely that we spent a whole day just in the lodge.
It is pricier than other lodges, but we thought it was worth it; with its beautiful surroundings and high end finishes.
We will be back.

Roomy and classy lodge which was very private, up-to-date and attractive. Great to have the hot tub to descend into after long walks, all ready to go. Think this place would be hard to beat and would definitely return and recommend to others.

Beautiful setting with peace and quiet as the main agenda. The lodges are a very high specification, clean and well equipped.
The staff cannot do enough for you.
Welcome pack and ability to order more food packs took the stress out of shopping away.
Information provided about surrounding areas and access was helpful when we wanted to get out and about.

Very relaxing with minimal staff intervention which was appreciated, high standard of lodge, peaceful and quite. easy access to surrounding area, pleasant 30 min traffic free walk into Lewes. Considering to go again next year.
