On arrival given keys and a map with location marked. Parked at this location and entered caravan only to find that someone else's belongings were in it. Just as about to return to reception occupants returned and were horrified to find that we had been given the keys to this caravan. At reception we were told sorry just human error and then given some more keys to another van. Not at all exceptable. This should never happen and was not a good start to our holiday. Second van several light bulbs out and curtains falling off the rails and coffee cups left stained. Wonder whether this caravan had been cleaned.

After being moved from unsuitable acommodation to the lodge we found it clean and comfortable with good location views and facilities with in the lodge. However there were problems with the showers and fire alarm One shower was fixed whilst we were there the other was waiting for parts. The staff were very helpful and friendly whilst sorting out our concerns and after a rough first couple of days we had a great holiday

The caravan was alright. It has 2 toilets and 3 bedrooms just enough for all of us (2 adults and 3 children). The light in one of the bedrooms wasn't working but luckily there was a lamp which we used as a substitute. The cutleries wasn't well cleaned which was disappointing. Price wise it was cheap.

we was booked to stay in Polzeath 3 bed lodge for 7 days ,lodge 35 we was allocated what a nightmare as soon as opened door it stunk, the cooker hood full of crease and fat.radiator's covered in dust rust and dirt. freezer stunk and was dirty, shower head broken and dirty in shower yellow seals , the bedrooms smelt of damp and mould spots everywhere.couldn't open patio doors, and clasp for outside gate broken.complained and refused to stay we was offered to look at lodge 34 if we didn't take that then there was nothing else available. In this time my husband had started to have anxiety attack and kids fed up as had taken us 4 hours to get to site, we taken lodge 34 but had to do dash to out to get cleaning products.the hall way light kept flickering, the spot light under kitchen counter kept flicking on and off look like it had been pulled down.damp and mould in main bedroom and stunk.both showers had yellow seals and looks like the bathrooms had been painted as paint sprays over shower head , toilet, bin and radiators.there was only grill tray in oven no other trays and the grill didn't fit on tray. had to go by trays to cook.no lamps in any of the bedroom with kids that don't like dark had to go buy lamps for bedrooms .cables hanging down in Livingroom and all the dinning chairs different and all wobbly.I spent day cleaning lodge even windows as it was horrible very dated.Site has no internet connection at all and when had free trial of internet in lodge didn't work either.

Didn't use facilities as we were out every day but lodge was fantastic. Bedding and towels provided and loads of storage space. 2 bathrooms. Nice and quiet in October. Lodge warmed up quickly and bed was comfy. Would definitely come back again

Cedar lodge was wonderful, had everything we needed, very spacious and in a lovely quiet location but close enough to facilities. 10/10

Was surprised with a free upgrade on arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful. We needed to stay an extra night as my car unfortunately broke down and they were so accommodating. We went to the restaurant for breakfast as a family of 3 (1 adult 2 toddlers) to hear nothing on the kids menu was available which was disappointing. Everything else was perfect and we will 100% return soon.

Booking system for activities (pool) didn't work so couldn't use them as fully booked. Unaware it was Park Dean site which was geared towards children. Lodge damp and "tired".

Excellent place to enjoy holiday apart from WiFi is very bad o2 network not working there so we get internet only in the restaurant. And the swimming pool should be open all day and not on appointment only one hour per visit. But everything else great ????

Had a great week away last week. Thanks to Sharon in the restaurant for her friendly chat and helpful tips for things to do. A credit to the team. Parking not great for the cheats. Could do with lining the spaces to stop cars taking too much room.

The park was close to excellent Cornwall beaches to drive to but we did miss just a walk to the beach,Rachel and Julianne were fantastic in the camp bar and the entertainment by the lifeguards in the swimming pool was top class while we enjoyed a relaxing swim,as a larger person did find the van rather small in the main bedroom was expecting a 12ft van, park was clean may return if choosing Cornwall as a destination again x

Overall, we had an amazing holiday. The location of St Minver was ideal to get to some lovely places and we were certainly helped by the weather! The holiday didn't start great, there were no towels or washing up bits in the kitchen (our last Parkdean resort holiday had these included.) Jane at Reception was really helpful and managed to sort out towels for all of us. Then on our first day, the car wouldn't start!! Back to reception to see Jane and she managed to find a maintenance man with jump leads to help us, don't know what we would of done without him!The WiFi was intermittent in the caravan. We didn't need it much but all the welcome pack and booking activities online was done through a QR code. We had lovely weather so didn't really need the WiFi, but think we would of been frustrated if it had rained. The facilities were okay on site. The indoor pool we used twice, they only book out 30 places and the other 28 places are first come first serve, great idea and we had no issue using the pool. The main centre was ok, ate there once and food was basic but obviously caters well for families. The Costa coffee was nice after swimming and the bar staff, especially Rachel, were lovely.Overall, couldn't of asked for a better holiday. The park felt quiet for August and we visited Padstow, Rock, Port Isaac and Newquay. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Jane, Rachel and the swimming pool staff. As already mentioned, we got really lucky with the weather. I think the review might be different if we had bad weather or were stuck to just the caravan park but we really enjoyed ourselves!

Absolutely DISGUSTED dog owners. We booked our holiday to St Minver because it was DOG FRIENDLY(We have two small dogs) and in a lovely position, near the coastline in North Cornwall. WE WERE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS HOLIDAY.The site looked lovely as we arrived on the Friday, and we were very happy. On our first Saturday, we had a lovely day out and were excited to go to the clubhouse to play Bingo and then enjoy watching the entertainment. We then went into the showbar, found a table and were getting settled in when a security guard came up to us and asked us to leave. We had done nothing to deserve this, but were told that dogs were not allowed in the showbar. Dog owners beware.

Slight issues with cleanliness of caravan when we arrived. Looked like a pet been in before and my son has asthma which is why we booked caravan which didn't accept pets. This was Soon sorted by the helpful staff and was moved into a different caravan for the rest of our stay. Couldn't fault the staff they were amazing and I think a pet may have been in without there knowing. Overall great holiday would highly recommended.

The Trehawks glade and lodges are a wonderful base for a holiday in North Cornwall. We have used about five different lodges over the years and keep coming back but never again to this lodge until the beds are replaced. We were also disappointed by the lack of certain items in the club restaurant. No longer a rainbow salad and apple pie was on the menu but not available as was take away pizza on one evening. Not good enough.

Lovely space with all the trees around the caravan, a tad noisy with the rooks/crows that became the alarm clock but caravan was warm, clean and spacious

The Mulberry caravan was in excellent condition. We arrived expecting to give the caravan an additional clean, but found ourselves not needing to. It was very clean and in great condition. The furniture was very comfortable, kitchen area very good. It was an excellent caravan and we were very comfortable for our week long stay. One thing to note, we found inside the caravan to be extremely hot when we stayed, we had to purchase a couple of desk fans for the bedrooms. Shower was also excellent, very good water pressure.
