We just got back from a week at Goddards Mead and honestly, it was fantastic. The cottage had everything we could ask for, super well stocked. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming and even being on a farm, it felt so peaceful and relaxing. Loved it!

The lodge truly exceeded our expectations, with breathtaking scenery everywhere we looked.

The cottage was just what we needed-super cosy and well away from everything, but still near shops and cafes. The hot tub was a real treat after a day out and the underfloor heating kept us warm all night. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Well be back soon!

We stayed at this charming cottage and honestly, it had everything we could possibly need-no need to pack much! We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place, tucked away in such a peaceful spot. The owners were genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, but kept the privacy we wanted. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day of cycling - so relaxing! Just a heads up, the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it and honestly, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Would definitely recommend!

The location was perfect - plenty of nice walks nearby and Thaxted and those charming villages are worth a visit. We definitely left feeling recharged and relaxed, so all in all, a great experience!
