I dont even think they cleaned this lodge before we arrived. Book it if its your last option. Like other reviews theyre all true. Its dirty, untamed and theres no basic essentials. The floors, windows and exterior are very dirty and dusty. The toilet seats dont fit. And theres no basic essentials such as hand towels, shower gels, dishwasher tablets or cleaning supplies and not even hand wash. The location is great, theres a bus stop outside and it was close to the water edge so we could go paddle boarding. We were unable to complain about the state of the lodge because reception is only open 9am to 5pm daily which by then we arent there because we wanted to get the most out of our holiday. The young lady who served us when we checked in at reception was lovely. She was being trained and was really nice and helpful with clear directions to the lodge.

We had a really nice stay at this private hot tub lodge. It felt cosy and spacious, with everything we needed. The only downside was the hot tub being right at the front, so it wasnt very private, especially with the road nearby. Still, a lovely place overall!

We had such a fantastic stay with our family of four! The lodge was spotless and well-equipped and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The kids loved the entertainment and honestly, we couldnt find any faults at all.

We found the place perfect for two of us-super cosy and just the right size. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and those speakers? A lovely surprise! The heating worked perfectly too.

We really appreciated how cosy the lodge was, especially with the central heating on those autumn days. The decor was modern, spotless and perfectly suited for a couples stay. Definitely a good find!

Honestly, we had a pretty great time overall. The site itself was lovely and the reception team were really friendly and welcoming. Our caravan was spotless when we arrived, thanks to the lovely cleaning staff who checked everything was perfect. The kids entertainment - especially the guy doing the unicorn show - was fantastic; my niece adored it! The only hiccup was our first night - the restaurant felt a bit chaotic, probably because our table was near the arcade and all the dogs barking. Also, the waiter was a bit abrupt when he handed us the wrong burgers, but the food was really nice. Wed definitely come back!

We had a really lovely stay at White Cross Bay. The lodge (Scafell Lodge - Skiptory Howe 19) was spot on, comfy and well-equipped for a short break. It was convenient having a shop onsite for those little essentials we forgot - saved us a trip! The site itself was picturesque and felt safe, especially with the COVID measures clearly in place, both around the site and in the outdoor dining areas. That said, a couple of minor annoyances: the crockery and cutlery hadnt been cleaned properly by the last guests, so we had to wash everything before using it, which was a bit of a pain. Also, surprisingly, there was no toilet roll provided in either bathroom or en-suite, so better to bring your own or pop to the shop when you arrive. Still, overall, a lovely place for a break!

We really enjoyed our stay in this caravan. It had all the essentials and was surprisingly modern compared to the photos online, which was a lovely surprise. The space was much better than some other caravans we've been in before. The only downsides were a missing drawer in the main bedroom and losing power briefly before reception opened - turns out the toaster was tripping the fuse! Despite that, wed definitely come back to a Brantwood again, its a nice spot overall.

The lodge was really lovely and we couldnt complain about the heating - it was pretty warm most of the time, which was great. The hot tub was nice too, but honestly, it could do with a bit more privacy since you can see the neighbouring lodge when you're getting in and out. Still, overall, we had a good stay!

We loved the lodges stunning location by the lake and the overall vibe was really nice. The indoor pool was a bit crowded though, but still enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at this lovely lodge and really enjoyed it. The decor was stunning and the location on site was perfect. The only downside was the third bedroom - quite cosy with a small three-quarter bed, which was fine for our kids but not ideal for two adults. Also, no spare pillows in any room. Still, overall, a great stay!

We had an amazing time at this spot overlooking Lake Windermere. The lodges are really new and well-equipped, super clean and comfy, which we appreciated. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise with tasty food and friendly staff. Perfect location for exploring Ambleside, Grasmere and Bowness. Definitely a place wed visit again!
