A lovely accomodation to stay in . Spotlessly clean.

We had a fantastic weekend stay! The place truly met all our expectations and were already planning to return. Our dogs adored the underfloor heating and really enjoyed the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it-poor girl! All in all, it was a great trip for both us and our pups. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right from the door were lovely. The owners made us feel so welcome, really warm and friendly. Definitely coming back!

We had an amazing stay at this cosy cottage! The place is super well kept and has everything you might need. Loved the dog-friendly walks right outside the door and meeting the farm animals, especially Penelope the pig, was a real treat. The host was lovely and quick to respond. Definitely coming back, great value for sure!

The cleanliness was impressive, honestly! Beds and bedding felt so comfy and fresh, way better than most holiday parks we've stayed at before.

Overall, we had a lovely stay. The place was spotless and nicely arranged, making us feel comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made a difference. Only a few things like no hot water in the sinks and a need for a soak-up mat on the bathroom floor could be improved. We'd definitely return though!

We loved the cosy cottage, perfect for a peaceful escape. The hot tub was a real highlight! Just a heads up, planes fly overhead at night, being close to Stansted.

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which we really appreciated. The large fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The cottage had everything we needed and the hot tub was absolutely brilliant! We even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. Were already planning to come back and have recommended it to friends. Thanks for a lovely break!

Really comfy and spotless

We had a fantastic week at this cosy cottage in Thaxted with our two mini dachshunds. They loved making new friends in the village and exploring the lovely surroundings. The hot tub was a real treat, especially during those scorching days when the water was just right for cooling off. The hosts were warm and welcoming and it was nice to see their dogs taken out daily to the fields. Being close to Stansteds flight path was actually quite fun - we enjoyed watching the planes come in. Definitely a place wed recommend!

Overall, its a lovely place, but the heating wasnt quite up to the mark. We had some bad weather during our stay and really needed it on, but it just couldnt warm the big house properly. Still, a good stay!

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, it was a real gem. The owners are so friendly and thoughtful, making sure everything was perfect. The place itself is adorable-beautiful half-timbered style, super clean and very cosy inside. The shower is powerful and the bed was incredibly comfy. Parking right next to the cottage was a lifesaver. Plus, the walks around the fields to Thaxted are simply stunning-definitely recommend if youre after a peaceful escape!

The bungalow was lovely, much better in person than the pictures suggested, really enjoyed it.

What a lovely place to stay, on site facilities were brilliant, accommodation large & amazing ? dogs allowed everywhere except the park - fantastic for doggies ? food was outstanding ? highly recommend 10/10 ?

The house had obviously had a revamp as it was much fresher than what was on the website.

The staff are so friendly. The lady from cooks corner did her upmost to provide food for my fussy eater

We all had an excellent holiday, the site was great for the kids and the staff were great. We did have to drive to get to the beach and nearby shops, but we had amazing days out to the beach and it was well worth the trip. Would definitely visit again in the future.

A very lovely and well looked after park. The homes themselves are very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Situated in a great area for exploring and easy to get to.
All the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.
The pool is quite small, but they do use a booking system so not to over crowd the pool.
Bar and restaurant area was very nice with an extensive selection of food and drink.
Overall a great stay and would definitely return if I was to holiday in Cornwall again. Excellent value for money.
