Nothing really positive to say.The caravan and cleanliness were not up to scratch.

Ocean Edge. The caravan was advertised as made for larger families. The van had a separate WC from shower but only one, which for a 6ft man was very cramped.The 3 bedrooms were very cramped too and the double had very little space for moving about. The caravan was clean.There was no drainer or starter washing up liquid provided. We had to provide all towels which was explained when booking.The site was tidy in general with a very large grassed area ideal for kids games. The children's adventure playground was limited and they thought it was boring.The site is adjacent to a nuclear power station which might put some people off, it didn't bother us.The staff in the main were very good. The entertainment and bar areas were spacious and well staffed.Major problem for us was the bar prices. A round of 2 j20s, small coke, bottle of bud and a glass of Prosecco was over 26 pounds!However, the children had a good time and that's what we went for. We will not return.Key strengths of Ocean Edge :children's entertainment, pool access, amusements. Weaknesses price of drinks, our Crosby caravan too cramped and fairly spartan.

We had such a lovely stay! The cottage was charming and super comfy, nestled in a peaceful spot with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The farm was lovely and we enjoyed seeing the horses. The owners were genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome. Definitely a place to revisit for a quiet retreat!

We just got back from a lovely week at Goddards Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and was super cosy. The hosts made us feel really welcome and even though its on a working farm, it felt peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

We needed a proper break with the dog and this place ticked all the boxes. Lovely digs, nearby pubs and eateries and endless fields for walks. Honestly, the dog didnt want to leave at all!

We just got back from a four-night stay at this cosy cottage and honestly, we had a great time. The owners were super friendly but not at all intrusive, which we really appreciated. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The cottage had everything we needed - even a BBQ for a lovely evening outside. The hot tub was a real highlight! Were already telling friends to check it out and definitely plan to come back ourselves. Thanks for a lovely break!

We had such a lovely weekend stay! The place was perfect for what we needed and we really enjoyed ourselves. Our dogs were especially happy with the underfloor heating and the outdoor space - Luna was wagging her tail non-stop! Sadly, she strained it from all the excitement, but it was all worth it. Well definitely come back!

The place itself is beautifully kept, super clean and cosy - the shower is powerful, which is a bonus! Parking right outside was so handy and the heating kept everything nice and warm. We enjoyed peaceful walks across the fields to Thaxted, with its pretty half-timbered houses. Overall, a fantastic spot for a relaxing break!

We stayed at this charming cottage on a working farm and honestly, it was perfect for a relaxing break. The privacy is great, despite the farm setting and Robert and Sharon are lovely hosts who made us feel really welcome. The place itself is spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed-big plus! The garden is private, dog-proof and nicely furnished. Loads of walks nearby and some cracking restaurants in Thaxted, like The Star and The Maypole. Definitely recommend it!

We had a lovely stay at this place! The house was really well kitted out and kept us warm, which was perfect on a chilly, rainy day. The bath was fantastic and the shower was big enough to relax in. Being near a flight path didnt bother us at all and its a dream spot for dogs avoiding fireworks. Beautifully converted and peaceful, wed definitely come back. Thanks a lot!

We stayed in the same caravan back in April and honestly, we noticed a drop in cleanliness. The kitchen utensils looked quite worn and had leftover food on them. The oven and grill pan were dirty too, so we decided not to use them at all. Bit disappointing really.

We stayed here for a week in July with our two mini daschund girls and they absolutely loved it. They made lots of new friends in the charming village of Thaxted. The cottage itself is really lovely and the hot tub was such a treat, especially during the hot weather-so refreshing! The hosts were super welcoming and it was nice to see their horses being taken out to the fields daily. Yes, it's near Stansted's flight path, but honestly, watching the planes land was quite fun. Wed definitely recommend it!

Great park but depends what night yo go into eat what service you get on the monday and tuseday the staff in the eating area were very good cleaning tables as pepople moved to the show bar then on thursday the tables were not cleaned staff were chatting insted of working maybe just the shift manager

Good value for money. Enough facilities for what we needed. Although the park is quite vast, it didn’t seem overcrowded. Noise level was excellent
