Excellent accommodation was surprised to find a washing machine which came in handy. Would have benefited from having a hoover and a mob.

We stayed in a gorgeous caravan that was super well-equipped, making our stay really comfortable. The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help if we needed anything, which was great. Our caravan was tucked away in a peaceful spot with lovely views, away from the busy areas, so it was just what we wanted. The kids loved the swimming pool, which was perfect for them, even if we didnt use much else since we went out every day. Were already planning to come back!

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly and helpful without being intrusive, which we appreciated. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed and we even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. The hot tub was fantastic! We stayed at this place recently and honestly, its a good place. The house is super well stocked and kept us cosy despite the rainy December weather. The bath was so relaxing and the shower was big enough for two! The location is perfect if your dogs arent fans of fireworks - totally peaceful out in the middle of nowhere. Wed definitely come back, thanks so much!

We had a lovely stay at this place, nestled in a quiet, private spot thats just perfect for relaxing. The owners are genuinely friendly and always ready to help if needed, but they respect your privacy completely. The hot tub was a great bonus after a long day of cycling - really helped us unwind! Only thing to note is that the cottage sits right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after a while, but its worth considering if youre sensitive to noise. All in all, a great little getaway!

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely. The village of Thaxted is charming and the cottage itself is really cosy with a great hot tub - perfect after those scorching days, especially since the water was nicely cooled. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming; it was nice to see their horses being taken out each day. Being close to Stansteds flight path was actually quite interesting, watching the planes land. All in all, wed definitely recommend for a relaxing break!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage, tucked away on a working farm but surprisingly private. The hosts, Robert and Sharon, couldnt be nicer and made us feel really welcome. The place itself is super spacious with all the kitchen gadgets you could need and a comfy bed thats perfect for a good sleep. The garden is great-completely dog-proof and nicely furnished, ideal for relaxing outside. Theres plenty of walking nearby and Thaxteds restaurants, like The Star and The Maypole, are worth checking out. Wed definitely recommend it!

Great site and facilities. Friendly staff and good location. Sadly the outdoor pool was shut for a few days.

Value for money in context is based on the unreasonable hike (double in this case) that all holiday companies seem to levy on parents at school holidays.
