We stayed in the Rydal (M23) and it was lovely! On the smaller side but it was only me and my husband and our 2 young kids. Lovely, clean and I would say new caravan with no chips etc. Resturant on site (The Willows) 10/10 every meal we had and using the app to order food and drink were really helpful. My daughter loved the soft play and the arcades there were really good, just enough.We went in June and it wasnt busy at all with kids so I didnt feel too chaotic. The town is 5 minute walk and the Beatrix potter museum is a must if you have younger children. Town is lovely and had lots of shops. Would definitely come back, thank you everyone :)

We had a really lovely stay! Sharon and Robert were such welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home. The place was spotless, comfy and perfect for Archie, our dog. The location was spot on with loads of great walks nearby, plus Thaxted and the other villages are simply charming. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed - it was just what we needed, honestly. Would happily come back!

We stayed at this lovely place during a chilly December week and found it super cosy and well kitted out. The big shower and comfy bath were a real treat after long walks. The houses location is perfect for dogs - totally quiet with no fireworks to worry about. And honestly, the noise from the flight path didnt bother us at all. Thanks so much for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead! The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were perfect. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Lovely place!

All good but it would have been very helpful to have towels, a little washing up liquid and/or a couple of dishwasher tablets.

We loved this charming little cottage-just enough distance from everything to feel private, yet close enough to grab some nearby amenities. The hot tub was a real highlight and the underfloor heating kept us cosy all weekend. Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. Cant wait to return!

We stayed at this lovely cottage recently and honestly, it had everything we needed - we didnt have to bring a thing! The owners, Sharon and Rob, were super quick to reply if we had any questions. The welcome pack was really helpful, packed with useful info and menus, which we appreciated. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs, who loved running around freely. The hot tub was definitely the highlight, so relaxing. Thanks for such a great little escape - well be back!

We had a lovely stay here and its definitely a place wed visit again. It was our first time at this park and honestly, everything else was spot on. The only downside was one staff member at the restaurant who seemed to have trouble with the till, which made us wait quite a while. Apart from that, all good!

We had such a lovely stay at this place! The setting is truly beautiful and feels really private, perfect for relaxing. The owners were super friendly and always available if we needed anything, but they also respected our privacy. After a long day cycling, the hot tub was a real treat! Only thing to mention is that the cottage is right under Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but it didnt ruin our trip at all. Overall, a great spot!

We had a fantastic weekend stay here! Everything we hoped for and more. The garden was perfect for our pups, who couldnt get enough of it, especially with the underfloor heating in the house-it was a hit! Lunas wagging got her a strained tail, but shes fine. Definitely planning to come back soon. Great place for dogs and humans alike!

Overall just as we expected from reading previous reviews. Everything we needed was there and decent sized fridge. 2nd bedroom small but you only sleep there so ok. Lounge decent size for 2 of us but would be a bit tight if 4 dining. At the end of the day we paid for a caravan holiday in great location and thats just what we got. Some furniture getting a little old but when used regularly to be expected.

We stayed at this charming cottage, tucked away on a working farm but surprisingly private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are lovely and very welcoming. The place is spacious and well-equipped, especially the kitchen and bathroom - no complaints there. The bed was super comfy, which is always a plus after a day of exploring. The garden is lovely, totally dog-proof with nice furniture and perfect for relaxing. Lots of walks nearby and Thaxted has some cracking restaurants - The Star and The Maypole are definitely worth a visit. Wed happily recommend it!

The cottage itself is a proper gem - charming with its traditional half-timbered look and the shower was surprisingly powerful! The cosy kitchen and comfy bed made for a perfect stay. Parking right next to the property was a real bonus and it was spotlessly clean throughout. Plus, the walks around the fields and easy trips to Thaxted made it even better. Definitely recommend!

Such a lovely park, good to be next to lake with its wonderful views. Couple of minutes walk and you are in Bowness. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have stayed there in the past and will hopefully get back again. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely setting, easy walk in to the town and lake. Caravan was much better than expected.
