great place to stay to explore the coast

Couldn't fault the caravan but decking could do with being brushed as lots of cob webs

Ideal caravan

The Astoria Caravan was great. It was clean and comfortable and the factories were great. We had a toddler and baby with us so the gated decking was great to allow our toddler to play outside knowing he was safe.

We loved the cosy cottage, the owners were lovely and the jacuzzi was a real treat!

We had such a lovely stay at this good place! The setting is really beautiful and private, perfect for a peaceful break. The owners were super friendly and always happy to help without intruding. We loved unwinding in the hot tub after cycling around the area. Just a heads up, the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much after a while, but if you're sensitive to noise, its worth knowing. Overall, a great little escape!

We had such a lovely stay! The place is perfect for a peaceful escape. Sharon and Robert really go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. Its our second visit and were already planning to return again soon!

We genuinely enjoyed our stay at Goddard Mead. The cottage had everything we needed and the walks right outside were perfect. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel really welcome. Lovely experience!

We just got back from a four-night stay at this charming cottage and honestly, we had a great time. The owners are really friendly but not pushy, which we appreciated. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to roam around safely. The place had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely hot tub - it was such a treat! We even used the BBQ one evening. Definitely planning to come back and have already recommended it to friends. Thanks for a lovely stay!

A beautiful caravan park. Staff were welcoming and friendly caravan was spotlesly clean park was impeccably well kept. Good central base for exploring other attractions. Only that the bed was too soft for our comfort, but that's not to say they would be uncomfortable for everyone.

We really enjoyed the spot in the park, its a great place with tasty, affordable food and a modern extension. The only downside was the limited seating for the entertainment, so we couldnt join in. Overall, a lovely holiday!

We stayed at Goddard's Mead and absolutely loved it! Rob, Sharon and Bonnie were such welcoming hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The buildings history is beautifully preserved and its clear theyve put a lot of care into converting it sympathetically. The location is perfect for exploring Essex - we enjoyed wandering around Thaxted and the surrounding villages, soaking up all the charm and history. Highly recommend for a relaxing break!

The hot tub was a real treat after cycling all day! Just a heads up, the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so youll hear planes overhead. It didnt bother us after a while, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth knowing. Overall, a great place to unwind and relax!

Best caravan we've ever stayed in. Very modern. Lovely quiet site. The entertainment girls were good at there job. Courtesy bus in to New Quay a real bonus as didn't have to worry about parking.

Park very nice,all staff nice and polite.

All good. However, I was disappointed that there was no internet in vans and think this should be strongly considered.

Absolutely amazing place, thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Pencnwc is a lovely warm, clean and welcoming caravan park. Everything on site is to a good standard, with the local shop only a few yards away from the main entrance. Plenty to do nearby, the kids were entertained by the crazy golf and park.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy.
Clubhouse Very good, food there Very good too.
Caravan we had was standard, clean and would definitely recommend it.

We never went to the club we were so far away and can't walk that far we didn't bother. Usually we have a caravan near the club which suits our mobility. Wouldn't want to stay that far out again. Lovely caravan nice and clean. Had everything we needed.

Well kept site, friendly and helpful staff in good location. Ideal for couples who are looking for a quiet break. Caravans very clean, fully equipped, with parking space and outside seating area. Easy access to roads for access to surrounding areas.

Great holiday

Just got back from a week in the Elite caravan, it was spotlessly clean it had everything you needed for your weekly break, lovely comfy bed, it was definitely home from home, would definitely book again ???
