Quite narrow in the corridor between rooms. All facilities where as stated and everything worked as expected.Loved the place and will be going back.

One of the best caravan site in Scotland and value for money.

Was a good size but could be doing with a bit of an update, door to the room toilet wouldn't close, second room was really small and would have been handy to have a dvd player and broom

Poor windows, struggled to have one closed as stuck. A staff member tried really hard to have it sorted and was grateful he managed after all the stress it caused.

Every caravan we have stayed in has been really clean and comfortable, the kitchen is basically but well equiped.

Lovely roomy, comfortable caravan, which was very clean, well presented and equipped. Would definitely recommend added bonus of two toilets.

All perfect, only improvement would be to have a Hoover in caravan for sand to help end of stay cleans

This place is perfect if youre after some real peace and quiet. The hot tub was a bonus and the property had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay - lovely hosts too. Wed definitely come back!

We had a fantastic weekend here! The place was just what we needed and were already planning to return. Our dogs had a blast - especially with the underfloor heating and the garden was perfect for them. Luna was wagging her tail so much she strained it, but its all good. Truly happy pups and humans alike!

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive, which was great. The fenced garden was perfect for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a BBQ one evening. The hot tub was definitely the highlight! Were already planning to come back and have recommended it to friends. Thanks for a lovely time!

We had a lovely week at this charming cottage with our two mini daschund girls. They really enjoyed themselves, making friends in the quaint village of Thaxted. The place itself is cosy and welcoming and the hot tub was a real treat-especially during the hot weather, as it was cooled down nicely, making it super refreshing. The hosts are genuinely friendly and seemed happy to see us each day. Watching planes land near Stansted added to the charm and wed definitely recommend for a relaxed getaway. Wed happily return!

From the moment we arrived, Rob, Sharon and Bonnie made us feel so welcome. They've put a lot of love into restoring this historic building and it really shows. The place is so comfy and perfect for relaxing. It's in a lovely part of Essex, ideal for exploring Thaxted and the surrounding villages. Definitely worth taking a bit of time to wander around and soak up the history and charm of the area. Wed happily return!

We spent a week here in July with our two little dachshunds and honestly, it was such a lovely break. The cottage really is charming and the hot tub was a real highlight, especially during the scorching weather - perfect for cooling off! The hosts were warm and welcoming and it was nice to see their dogs being taken to the fields each day. Being near Stansted and on the flight path added a bit of entertainment, watching the planes come in. Overall, wed definitely recommend - wed love to come back!

It's a wonderful beach the caravan is clean and comfortable I'ev been twice. The staff are very friendly and will help you if anything is needed there are plenty of place to go and are not to far from the site.

We had a fab week here as family of 4, children are 11 and 8. The lodge was lovely and had everything we needed the only negative was the double mattress could have been comfier. WiFi worked fine and the shower was powerful.
The beach was lovely and had plenty of rock pools for the kids to explore. The shop is very reasonably priced, as is the restaurant and the food was good pub food, pizzas were very nice.
There is an Asda about 15 minutes away or a co-op around 20 mins away.

Stunning location. Spotless neat, very friendly staff. Private beach is amazing. Lots of surfers about. Overall wonderful stay. Would love to do it again.
