The cottage itself is really cosy and well-kept, but the best part was definitely the hot tub. Perfect for cooling off during the heatwave! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel at home. Also, watching the planes land from near the property added a bit of excitement. Wed definitely come back again!

Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some great restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!

The welcome pack was really helpful, with all the info about the place and local menus, which was a nice touch. The owners, Sharon and Rob, responded quickly whenever we had questions. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was definitely a highlight. Thanks for such a relaxing getaway, we really appreciated all the little extras!

Only thing to mention is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It didnt bother us much, but if youre sensitive to noise, its worth knowing. Overall, a lovely spot!
