Main bed in master bedroom could have been a little more comfortable, wife found it too soft.

The lodge was beautiful, very homely we could have moved in. Very equipped there was everything you needed. Spotlessly clean. Will 100% return

We had an amazing weekend here, it really ticked all our boxes. The place was perfect for us and the pups-they adored the underfloor heating and the garden. Luna was wagging her tail so much, she strained it! The vets said its just from all the fun. Honestly, were already planning our next visit, cant wait to come back!

We spent a week here with our two little dachshunds and honestly, it was lovely! The village of Thaxted is charming and our dogs made friends with some local pups, which was a treat to see. The cottage itself is really cosy and well-kept, but the best part was definitely the hot tub. Perfect for cooling off during the heatwave! The hosts were super friendly and made us feel at home. Also, watching the planes land from near the property added a bit of excitement. Wed definitely come back again!

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage tucked away on a working farm. Its surprisingly private, which we appreciated and the owners, Robert and Sharon, are genuinely lovely people. The place is really spacious inside, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfy bed that we didnt want to leave. The garden is perfect for dogs-completely secluded and furnished nicely. Plenty of walks nearby and Thaxted has some great restaurants like The Star and The Maypole. Wed definitely recommend it!

We loved seeing the horses and the owners were super friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Its perfect if youre after a calm, relaxing getaway. Definitely recommend for a quiet break!

The caravan was spotless and well-maintained. The toaster unfortunately broke, but the team replaced it quickly, so no worries there!

We had such a lovely stay at this charming cottage! Honestly, we didnt need to bring much because everything was supplied - we overloaded the car for no reason. The welcome pack was really helpful, with all the info about the place and local menus, which was a nice touch. The owners, Sharon and Rob, responded quickly whenever we had questions. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden and the hot tub was definitely a highlight. Thanks for such a relaxing getaway, we really appreciated all the little extras!

Comfortable stay with friendly staff

Great place very handy for new quay. Very clean. Caravan platinum 3 was well.kitted out. Free WiFi in caravan and bar. Bar staff very friendly especially the barman made the place fun and he participated with the customers in dancing etc. Live music on the Saturday night very good. Food was nice and good prices

Great location park is kept in pristine condition. Caravan like new, towels provided white crisp bedding also.
Would definitely recommend and return.

Was a very nice site. Staff were friendly. Only down side for our stay was the indoor pool was closed and the outdoor pool was too cold for my boy.

We were very happy with the lodge & location the only observation was the shower needed some grab rails as standard

We had a lovely peaceful time and would not hesitate to co come back.
