Nethercraig Holiday Park - Reviews

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful surroundings, would stay again.

Nice lodge in general. Beautiful area. Broadband slow at times and a little isolated

Great site. Lodge clean, plenty of space and comfortable

The site is in a great location with views all around, caravan wasnt squashed in like many other sites. Staff are very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of tips of things we could do. I would definitely recommend and will be back in the future. The site was also very quiet and peaceful the caravan had everything you needed and was very spacious. Great value for money

We didnt actually stay in the Airlie caravan as we were told on arrival that the shower had broken. I believe it was the Glen isla we were given instead. It was clean enough with everything we needed including a good shower, kitchen equipment and a proper sized single bed for my son instead of the usual tiny caravan ones. There was a little dust in less obvious areas and the veranda was very unkempt with dead plants, dirty table and bench and spider webs galore. Luckily we were out most of the time so didnt really want to use it anyway. All in all it was reasonably good value for money and the comfortable caravan, relaxed atmosphere on the park, the friendliness of the staff and the location of the park more than made up for any niggles like the veranda.

A great Lodge, we stayed for 2 weeks, (4 adults), and there's more than enough room, with everything you need for your stay.Ok internet & phone signal is poor, but that is expected in the countryside and wasn't a problem for us.

We loved our stay. It's a peaceful site in beautiful surroundings. Our lodge was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We can't wait to return for another holiday.

Our holiday home was perfect. It was very clean and well-equipped. The owners/staff were extremely welcoming and very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Mattresses a little uncomfortable. But not to bad

Excellent accommodation and holiday park.Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.

We just got back from a fantastic week at Goddards Mead. The cottage had everything we needed, super well-equipped. The hosts were genuinely lovely and friendly. Even on a busy farm, it felt peaceful and relaxing-like a proper little escape, honestly. Would recommend!

Peaceful, well looked after site and clean and tidy lodges.

Was clean but had marks some of the utensilsWere worn e.g the flipper !! And the plastic edge on the end of the sofa kept falling off and curtains on the door had holes

Loved our stay at Goddards Mead, its a lovely cottage with everything we needed. Definitely coming back!

We had a lovely stay! Sharon and Robert really made us feel at home, which was much appreciated. The place was spotlessly clean, cosy and safe for our dog Archie, which is always a plus. The location was perfect - loads of walks nearby and Thaxted and the surrounding villages are charming to explore. We definitely left feeling refreshed and relaxed, so all in all, a great escape!

The house was lovely, super clean and comfy. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the hot tub!

We had a lovely stay! The house was peaceful, perfect for relaxing and our dogs loved the garden.

The lodge was lovely and perfect for our family of four. We did encounter a bit of a problem with the DVD player, as it kept stalling despite trying two different new DVDs. Still, overall, a nice stay.

The caravan was super, lovely and clean with everything you need. Also provided some essentials for washing up and soap. The caravan was in excellent condition and also provided Netflix, Prime and WiFi. Beds were very comfortable and the whole caravan was lovely and spacious.

We had a great stay! The caravan was spotless and well-equipped, with all the essentials plus some extras like soap and washing up stuff. It was in fantastic shape, spacious and the WiFi plus streaming options like Netflix and Prime made it even better. Definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed the calm and stunning views here.

Excellent accommodation and access to wonderful Angus. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and I look forward to revisiting this immaculately kept park.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The park was spotless and Angus was absolutely lovely. Hosts made us feel so welcome, cant wait to return soon!

We stayed in the lodge recently and overall, it was quite a pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, with the main bedroom having its own en suite shower. Everything was mostly clean and tidy, which we appreciated. However, the toilet couldve used a proper clean and some bleach - it was a bit stained, which was a bit off-putting. The biggest issue was the wifi; despite the info saying there was internet, we couldnt get a signal inside the lodge. Walking out in the rain just to contact family was a bit frustrating. Still, for those not bothered about staying connected, its a lovely place to stay!

We had a nice relaxing time. Lots of things to see and do nearby.

The area was lovely, plenty to explore and keep us entertained all day long.

Great spot for exploring! The site was super well-kept and really relaxed, just what we needed.

Needs a bit of updating. Single bed nice size but mattress not overly comfy for an adult

A very chilled campsite. Well maintained. Perfect as a base for the exploring we wanted to do.

Great stay overall, just a few worn sofas.

We absolutely loved staying here. The accommodation is so comfortable and clean. Our only issue was the outside of the property needed a good jet wash because it was covered in webs and leafs and the outside furniture could do with a good varnish. But to be fair, these are minor issues. We were out every day exploring. The site is situated perfectly to explore Scotland. It is also one of the most peaceful, tranquil and relaxing parks I've ever stayed at.The Nethercraig Staff are so lovely and wwelcoming.we will definitely be back.

The park is very quiet, well set out with lots of space. It is very well kept. There is a lovely woodland walk and a pond with seating .There is a play park for children and a big playing field for ball games. The reception doubles as a shop selling milk eggs and other essentials and the owners are very friendly and know about the local area and can give advice about interesting places to visit. It is located in a very rural area down a narrow road with passing places so a car is essential for getting around. There are restaurants pubs etc around 5 miles away and several golf courses. There is also a large Tesco 10mins drive away in Blairgowrie which is open till late.We loved our stay here and used it as base for exploring.

Our stay in a lovely spacious chalet at Nethercraig was everything we wanted and more. Highly recommend to everyone!
