We had a really lovely stay in this charming place, tucked away in a quiet, private spot. The owners were super friendly and always happy to help if needed, but they still respected our privacy completely. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day cycling - such a treat! The only thing to mention is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Definitely recommend!

The place was spotless, comfy and perfect for our dog Archie - we felt totally secure. The location was spot on, with loads of great walks and the charming villages around Thaxted. Honestly, it was just what we needed to unwind and recharge. Wed definitely come back!

We just got back from a really nice four-night stay at this cottage. The owners are super friendly but not clingy, which was perfect. The big fenced garden was great for our dog to run around freely. The place had everything we needed - fully equipped kitchen and we even enjoyed a BBQ one evening. The hot tub was fantastic! Were already telling friends about it and definitely want to come back. We booked this place for a dog walking getaway and it was just what we needed. Lovely quality accommodation, plenty of nearby pubs and eateries and endless fields for off-road walks. The dog loved it - didnt want to leave!

We enjoyed walking through the fields to Thaxted, admiring the half-timbered houses and windmill. Definitely a place wed return to!

We recently stayed here for a week in July with our two mini daschunds and honestly, it was a lovely break. The cottage itself feels really cosy and we loved the hot tub - especially since it was boiling outside, so cooling down in the water was just perfect. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Watching the planes land near Stansted added a bit of entertainment too. The village of Thaxted is charming and our pups made loads of new friends. Definitely would recommend if you're after a relaxed getaway!

We stayed at this place recently and honestly, its really well kitted out and super cosy, perfect for those cold, rainy days. The bath was fantastic and the shower was spacious-just what we needed. The house is situated on a quiet spot, so no worries about the noise from planes or fireworks, which was a relief for our dog. Would definitely recommend, thanks so much!

The dog-friendly facilities, like the agility area, fields and the beach, were perfect for our pup. The dog wash was such a clever idea too. The accommodation was spotless, modern and well-equipped. Weve already booked again-cant wait to come back!

We stayed here for my sisters birthday and honestly, it was a pretty great experience. The chalet was super clean and had a nice layout, though we did find the second bedroom lacked enough storage space. Also, a few cooking utensils were missing, but Im sure if wed asked at reception, theyd have sorted it quickly. The bar and restaurant were really lovely, with tasty food and drinks at good prices. The whole site was spotless and well maintained. Everyone we met was friendly, especially the staff and the dog-friendly vibe. The hot tub guy was really nice, checking the tub daily. We had a brilliant time and cant wait to come back!
