We had a really lovely stay in this charming place, tucked away in a quiet, private spot. The owners were super friendly and always happy to help if needed, but they still respected our privacy completely. The hot tub was a real highlight after a long day cycling - such a treat! The only thing to mention is that the cottage is quite close to Stansteds flight path, so theres quite a bit of aircraft noise. It took us a couple of hours to get used to it, but honestly, it didnt ruin our holiday at all. Definitely recommend!

The hosts were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Watching the planes land near Stansted added a bit of entertainment too. The village of Thaxted is charming and our pups made loads of new friends. Definitely would recommend if you're after a relaxed getaway!

The dog-friendly facilities, like the agility area, fields and the beach, were perfect for our pup. The dog wash was such a clever idea too. The accommodation was spotless, modern and well-equipped. We stayed here for my sisters birthday and honestly, it was a pretty great experience. The chalet was super clean and had a nice layout, though we did find the second bedroom lacked enough storage space. Also, a few cooking utensils were missing, but Im sure if wed asked at reception, theyd have sorted it quickly. The bar and restaurant were really lovely, with tasty food and drinks at good prices. The whole site was spotless and well maintained. Everyone we met was friendly, especially the staff and the dog-friendly vibe. The hot tub guy was really nice, checking the tub daily. We had a brilliant time and cant wait to come back!
