Good as a base to work from.

Thevlodge was great.the hot tub was really nice we had trouble with the WiFi as the television needs it but we mostly played cards instead realy nice lodge would highly recommend

There was 8 of us, 3 generations and we all had a lovely experience. Would do it again.

My wife and myself had a wonderful time in our lodge spitfire 2 my only criticism was that the main Bedroom with en-suite bathroom was very dusty and had cobwebs which was disappointing has it had supposedly been cleaned first before our arrival. We will definitely be coming back to this lodge soon.

My holiday was a great get away from home and daily life to fun board games and visits to local attractions.

Not a restful holiday at all, most facilities only open during school holidays so you have to go to the shops for supplies. Grounds amazing, brilliant staff, let down by the Lodge Hurricane 1 . Lodge right nextdoor to worker shed so traffic and worker right outside nearly all day. The lodge was the most uncomfortable lodge I've ever stayed in, at a glance the look clean on tidy but when you unpack and sit down the back ache starts and you can't even get a good night's sleep due to the awful mattress. This lodge was 2 bedroom for 6 but really they are only big enough for 2 adults and 2 small children. We were so disappointed with this holiday as the website promised more.

Very clean and comfortable Hot tub was great and made a lovely end to the day

Wardrobe in our room needed some attention {the sliding doors didn't really slide} Also the shower in our double room didn't turn off without the assistance of a towel to turn the shower controller.

The holiday was okay. The first night the boiler didnt work. Admittedly the staff came within 20 minutes to sort. It was okay for a day then had no hot water again. Im not one to keep complaining. The tap was broken in the bathroom so you had to push it down for it to work. The side door wouldnt unlockNetflix didnt work and the wifi was poor. We had a late check out but left early.

Weve stayed at this lodge several times now and it never disappoints. Always clean, super comfy and well looked after. We love it here - already booked for next year! Cant wait to come back!

We stayed in a lovely spot with cosy lodges, perfect for a quiet break. The place was spotless and the staff were really friendly and receptive to our feedback. We did have a couple of small issues - the oven didnt heat properly and we found the area under the sofa quite dirty. Still, these didnt spoil our stay. The lodge was comfy with plenty of tea, coffee and even a bottle of ale! Wed definitely come back. Thanks a lot!

Lovely area and accomodation. Had two slight issues, the oven didn't really work or heat up properly which I reported to staff, and I noticed underneath the sofa was very dirty. But that aside, the place was spotless and the staff were very forthcoming with my feedback. Would highly recommend and will be returning. The lodge was very cosy with plenty of tea, coffee and a bottle of ale!! Very quiet on site which we liked. Perfect getaway for us. Thank you

We loved the spacious, warm lodge - perfect for relaxing after great walks! Excellent location too.

We stayed in a Hurricane Lodge after grabbing a last-minute deal and honestly, it was great! The place is in a peaceful spot, perfect for relaxing. The layout is spot-on, with everything you could need for a short getaway. We stayed three nights but reckon you could stretch it to a week easily. The sofa bed in the lounge was handy since we had five people. Activities like Treetops and clay pigeon shooting were well organised and good value. Plus, Portsmouth, the New Forest and Marwell Zoo are all just a short drive away-ideal for day trips!

The lodge could really do with a refresh to match its original quality now.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The lodge was lovely and the space was quite generous. Only small gripe is the bunk beds - there were seven of us and honestly, one of those beds could easily be replaced with a proper single. Had to move a mattress to the floor just to make it work. Still, we're planning to book a 10 next time - much better for us!

Weve been coming to Marwell Lodge for our Galintines weekend for three years now and honestly, it just gets better. The lodge is ideal for us gals, especially the mums needing a break. We always leave relaxed and happy. Definitely booking again next year! Its just perfect.

We stayed right after Christmas and it was such a good choice. The lodge was spotless, comfy and just what we needed. Theres a cute soft play area, a park and some adventure golf - though we thought the golf was a bit steep for what you get. The park could definitely be improved too. Overall, we had a lovely time and would come back!

The lodge was pretty comfy, but honestly, we couldnt see fitting more than 6 people in. It felt a bit tight and the kitchen wasnt very practical - only room for one person at a time. Also, no wooden spoons and tiny glasses, which was a bit annoying.

We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. The owner was super friendly and attentive, which made us feel really welcome. The kids couldnt get enough of the hot tub and quad bikes, plus they enjoyed the outdoor adventure park too. The Bistro meals were great value, though itd be helpful to clarify cancellations at booking. Lovely place!

Really enjoyed our stay! The place was lovely and well definitely be back. Only wish the sofas were higher and the hot tub was a bit hotter, though.

The lodge was really cosy and spotless, with plenty of little extras that made it feel special. It was a great spot to start our adventures.

We had a really lovely stay! The place was spotless and super cosy, especially with the central heating. The hot tub was a real treat, checked daily and perfect for unwinding. The kitchen was well equipped, though we brought some utensils just in case for our Christmas dinner. Plenty of space for all six of us-definitely recommend!

Great little getaway, would definitely recommend it.

Very nice place with lots of activities for the kids and adults. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained. In a perfect location to relax and unwind. Staff are all so friendly and ready to help with anything.

Fantastic accommodation in a lovely environment. Facilities are good (though we didn't use them too much). Overall, a great base for exploring the area.

Lodges where great very clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely time at the lodge. The place was clean, comfortable and better than we expected.
Only thing I’d say is that the kitchen could do with a few more things such as extra frying pans (one is not enough) and chopping boards for example. The showers had such a strong pressure it was brilliant! The beds were all comfortable.
We all enjoyed the hot tub which was a lovely spot to watch the bats fly over in the evening!
The kids enjoyed the outdoor trampolines and the indoor soft play too. The eating areas were ok, nice feel about them but unfortunately there was a strong smell around there during the time we stayed.
The pizzas were very nice (but please have a proper veggie option!) and the cooked breakfasts were superb.
There is a lovely walk to do around the lake too with a stunning wild meadow if you go at the right time.
Overall, we had an excellent stay at Marwell which gave us easy access to Paulton’s Park, the New Forest, Butser Ancient Farm and even the beach.

Wonderful resort with such a good vibe. Lodge was fantastic and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Felt like we were abroad due to the setting and weather

Really lovely lodge with excellent activities to entertain children of all ages; the soft play was a big hit.

Overall a very good break. The lodge was fine for two people and contained everything we needed. Bed was unusually comfortable as we've had some horrors in the past. Very quiet which we like despite all lodges being occupied.

We loved our stay here, there’s something for the whole family. Staff were all great. Bistro bar and pizzas definitely worth a try and visit! Yum yum

What a beautiful place and friendly staff. Had a wonderful long weekend. Lodge needs some minor TLC but nothing that would stop me visiting again. The site is beautiful with lovely walks and plenty for children to do.

3rd time back here this time with a much larger party so had the 4 bedroom lodge which was brilliant all the lady's were very happy an want to rebook to come again so a thumbs up from all .
